Ramaiah Institute of Technology is a very nice college.
Placements: Placements for the 2026 batch are going well, and many companies come in the 6th semester. Our Electronics and Communication Engineering department is very nice, with over 170 students are there in our batch. Top companies like Oracle and Microsoft come to our college for recruitment. The average package for ECE is 9 LPA, and for CS it is 13 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good, but the food quality is average. The infrastructure and facilities provided are good. Not much importance is given to sports in this college. The college canteen and Wi-Fi are good. Medical facilities are there at Ramaiah Hospital, but free access isn't given to students, they need to pay. Classrooms are huge and can have around 70 students to fit in one classroom.
Faculty: The teachers are quite good at their respective subjects. They have completed their Master's and some of them with PhDs. From the 3rd semester, the real subjects of each department start, and in the 1st year, everyone has common subjects in the P and C cycle. The pass percentage is around 85%, and if students are good in academics, then everyone will pass.
Other: We have 3 fests in a year, Udbhav is the main fest, Tech Fest, and Rajyotsava. Scholarships are given to students based on annual family income. There are around 1,500 students in every batch, and the campus is good.

Satisfied with placement, facilities, and teaching.
Placements: Highest average package offered in my Computer Science (cybersecurity) course recently has been 38 LPA in the 4th year. Top recruiting companies include renowned companies like Accenture, Swiggy, etc. The top roles offered in my course are as a cybersecurity analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: As for course and classrooms, the facilities provided are excellent. They have a working Wi-Fi all over the campus, free for students, and a very wide range of study materials available in the library, along with the facility to read silently during exams. As for the hostel, the quality of mess is not that good. Also, the fixes needed with the hostel infrastructure can be ignored or done a whole while later, which makes living really difficult. Canteen outside the hostel, i.e, inside the college, is good. Other facilities are good too.
Faculty: Teachers in MSRIT are knowledgeable and helpful. They are ready to reach outside classroom and teach you about more application-based topics. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not hard if you study well throughout the year. The pass percentage is around 80% as of this year.
Other: Well, the college doesn't have any huge fests other than tech fests, which also don't even seem like fests in the first place. The only big fest is the Udhbhav fest, and it's not very engaging like other fests seen in other colleges. One thing, if you had to give up when you enter MSRIT, is to give up on the idea of having fun. Because you won't have proper fests, and even during fests, sometimes classes will be taking place. So, it's not really recommended in that aspect. But otherwise, placement, studies, and facilities are all good.

The infrastructure and campus life are really good.
Placements: Above 90% of students get placed in 2025. The highest package is 58.3 LPA, the average package is 18 LPA, and the lowest package is 10 LPA. The highest package is increasing year by year. The college provides placement training and has a separate placement cell. Top companies like HP, JP Morgan, Dell, Microsoft, and Amazon visit for on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: 24/7 Wi-Fi is available. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped. The library is informative and includes a digital library. Hostel, mess, and canteen facilities are clean and good. Lab instructors and faculty members are supportive. Medical facilities are available, along with a gym, sports, and game areas.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. The passing percentage is above 90%. Assignments are project-oriented. Evaluation is based on the project and presentation skills, which help to overcome stage fear. More importance is given to practical experience.
Other: AI is a trending and valuable course for the future.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology is a good college.
Placements: Ramaiah Institute of Technology gives us a lot of opportunities to prove ourselves. The MS course at Ramaiah Institute of Technology also gives us a lot of opportunities to prove ourselves. Here everyone is friendly.
Infrastructure: Ramaiah Institute of Technology gives many opportunities to play games like cricket, volleyball, football, and some other games to play. It also conducts inter-branch and inter-college competitions every year, and it is the best for everyone.
Faculty: By increasing the semester, the level of hardness is increased in exams. The hardness of the paper is so tough and also whatever we take the course that course they will teach us in a very deep and understandable way to everyone. The squad will also come and check.

Average placement as well as college life.
Placements: The highest package this year's placement drive reached around 58 LPA, awarded to a CS AIML student. The average package is about 8-9 LPA. Nearly 80-85 percent of students securing placements. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Nvidia, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Bosch, and Qualcomm.
Infrastructure: The library facilities are very good. There are a total of 3-4 libraries, with a seating capacity of 250-300 and above, not less than that. Wi-Fi is provided by the college. Labs are good, but don't think the same about the lab teachers. The hostel available on the campus is not sufficient; only 30 percent of the students will get the hostel inside the campus, but hostels are available in the locality. However, the food served is too bad. You won't be able to consume the mess food regularly.
Faculty: I am currently in my second semester. The internal exams are not very difficult; you can prepare easily by studying 4-5 days before the exams and 10-12 days before the semester ends. The teachers are somewhat okay, depending on which one you get—some are very helpful.
Other: There are three main festivals on campus: Kannada Rajyotsava, Teach Fest, and Udbhav. Generally, Udbhav is good, but most of the performers are Kannada.
