Satisfactory experience. Helpful and indulgent faculty. Extra curricular activities are exceptional.
Placements: The placement often comes with offers. The top roles that are offered in my course might be those of content writers and social media content creators. They offer roles in B.Com and BBA related industries too, and overall are quite helpful if you want to take their help. Though I don't have much knowledge about it.
Infrastructure: We have well built classrooms for English department with a good ventilation system. The classrooms are spacious, and the seating arrangement is very comfortable. The colour combination of the building is also very likable and stylish. The floors are very structurally made. The rooms for classes are easy to find. Though that might not be the case for the old building.
Faculty: The teachers of the English department are really helpful in guiding the students in navigating their academic journey. They explain the concepts in detail and are very helpful when the students are in doubt regarding exams or studies. The semester exams are very curriculum based, and the passing percentage is high.
Other: The course has a lot of thought provoking concepts to offer, and not to mention the extracurricular life on campus. It is beautiful. The societies and sports teams offer a growth platform for students interested in something other than studies.

Underrated college, the crown of off-campus colleges in DU.
Placements: While getting internships from college is relatively easy, it might be tough for one to get a job through campus placements. Companies do come, reputed ones, but still I'd say less than 10 students from the 80 students in one class opt for them, many due to logistics, and others due to the pay.
Infrastructure: The college is huge and divided into 2 parts - one is the huge sports complex of the college, which is home to a sizeable football pitch and a nice cricket ground as well as a basketball court, volleyball court, and more. The college portion of the college is also very well maintained, with a building that was built less than 5 years ago. Wi-Fi and classrooms are all good according to DU standards.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and quite helpful. It depends on the teacher, too, as each person is different, but I would say more than 90% of teachers would be able to answer any question you have, whether it be about the curriculum or the college in general.
Other: In extracurricular activities, this college should be put in the top ranks. I would say, with its famous vibration fest, where an artist like Nikita Gandhi came last year, or the case of the tremendous number of opportunities provided by different societies, and the state-of-the-art sports complex and sport-encouraging college management.

The college is okay, not bad, but not great either.
Placements: Placements are average, with around 31% of students getting placed. Salary packages typically range between ₹2 LPA and ₹3.5 LPA. Most roles offered are in data management and back-end support. Top recruiters include Bank of America, EY, Genpact, Paytm, Airtel, L&T, Cent, Gartner, ICICI Prudential, Wipro, Zomato, and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on campus, and the classrooms are average. The library is decent but not outstanding. There is no hostel facility available. The canteen is below standard, and medical facilities are also inadequate. Sports and games are available but nothing exceptional. Overall, the college feels very average and did not meet my personal expectations.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, but overall not very helpful or interactive. While some are knowledgeable, many stick to basic teaching methods without much engagement. The syllabus feels outdated and lacks strong industry relevance. Exams are quite tough, and the overall pass percentage is around 40%.

An honest review of Shivaji college.
Placements: I have heard about the placements at this college. I think 80% of arts students can get placements, but I'm not sure if this data is correct or not. Although I don't know much about placements. But our college has a placement cell or society, which is quite active; they give placement and internship opportunities regularly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good and our classrooms are also nice. My college is in the off-campus of Delhi University, so it has better infrastructure compared to other off-campus colleges. The library of this college is good and has plenty of books Our college doesn't provide any hostel facilities.
Faculty: The faculty of my department is quite good. Teachers are also helpful and knowledgeable. They taught us very good. If I talk about exams, so the semester exam is normal, like if I have completed my syllabus, then I can easily crack, but if I didn't study anything about it,. Then I can fail also.
Other: The crowd at this college is okayish. And if we talk about campus life, it is the same as other colleges, like it depends on us how we can romanticize our campus life. My campus life is average—not too bad but not so good.

My college experience, pros and cons.
Placements: The placement opportunities are average. Some reputed companies visit, but the number of recruiters is limited. The average package is moderate, and most students get entry-level roles. Many students opt for higher studies or off-campus job searches. The placement cell tries to help, but more companies and better packages are needed. Internships are available, but students mostly find them on their own. The alumni network is growing but not very active in placements. Overall, placement support is decent but needs improvement in opportunities and salary packages.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure but a small campus, leading to space constraints. Classrooms are well-equipped, and the library offers good resources. Computer labs with internet access help students. However, there is no hostel facility. So outstation students must arrange their accommodation in PGs or rental flats. The college has basic sports facilities and a well-maintained cafeteria. While the infrastructure supports academics, the lack of a hostel and limited campus space are major drawbacks. More practical space and improved sports facilities would enhance the student experience.
Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, though teaching styles vary. Some professors are engaging, while others follow a traditional approach. The curriculum is well-structured but mostly theory-based. More practical exposure would be beneficial. Regular assignments and projects reinforce learning. Exams are fair, with a mix of subjective and objective questions. Internal assessments and presentations contribute to final grades. The difficulty level is moderate, and students who prepare well can score decently. Overall, faculty is good, the curriculum is decent but could be more practical, and exams are manageable with consistent effort.
Other: The college has an active cultural scene with various societies organizing events, workshops, and competitions. The annual fest is a major highlight, making campus life lively. The student crowd is diverse, friendly, and supportive. While academics and extracurriculars are well-balanced. Placement support and practical learning need improvement. The lack of a hostel is a drawback, but PGs and rentals are available nearby. The campus is well-maintained, and students have opportunities to engage in different activities. Overall, the college offers a good experience for those who actively participate, though some areas still need improvement.
