NIE Mysore BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
NIE Mysore BE is a full-time programe programme offered in affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University. At its South campus, the institute offers four BE specialisations. These specialisations are BE in Industrial and Production Engineering, BE in Civil Engineering, BE in Mechanical Engineering, and BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. As per the official website, the the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 56 LPA and INR 9 LPA, respectively. A total of 708 students were placed and 348 companies were visited during NIE Mysore placements 2023. At the South Campus of NIE Mysore, BE in Civil Engineering is divided into a semester pattern. Each semester, students study different subjects that help them understand the course in depth. Karnataka Examination Authority announced the KCET 2025 results online at the official website. The KEA KCET results 2025 was announced by the Karnataka's Higher Education Minister, Dr. M.C. Sudhakar on May 24 at press conference. The Karnataka CET result 2025 link for scorecard download will be available on the official website on May 24 from 2:00 pm onwards. KEA KCET results will be available on kea.kar.nic.in and will determine the qualifying status of the candidates. Applicants who appeared in the exam can check their KCET 2025 results through their user ID and password.

As per the criteria, candidates seeking entrance exam-based admission must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with English as one of the languages and obtained at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer (40% aggregate for reserved category).
For management admissions, students must have ave completed Class 12 or equivalent exam with English as one of the languages and obtained at least 55% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer
Many BE-offering colleges in Bangalore accepts KCET for admission to the BE programme. One of those institute is NIE Mysore. As per official sources, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the KCET exam dates 2025. As per that, the exam is scheduled to be held on Apr 16 and Apr 17, 2025.
