Best college in whole Pune.

Placements: I'm a second-year student, though since last year the intake has increased, the college takes full responsibility that every student learn through several projects that we do in groups and makes sure that every project is patented or published in a reputed journal. Besides, they also offer several co-curricular activities for a well-rounded development of a student.

Infrastructure: The canteen is good and the Wi-Fi is quite slow, but the rest of everything is average. We have a ground for sports and we have in total 2 canteens alongside a kiosk cafe and a Nescafe that offers snacks and good coffee. The library is updated with all the books and papers required for the study of students.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. They explain every topic in detail through PPTs and lab sessions. We also have course projects to implement what we have learned in the subject, and the curriculum is designed such that it makes our resume unique and stands out from the rest of the engineering crowd.

Other: One thing that the college needs to work on is handling the huge crowd. Since the intake has increased, we see a lot of students on a very small campus, and the canteens get flooded during the break. One thing that highlights the college is the clubs with a number of activities and events they conduct, which help in students' overall development. The crowd here is creative and active. The reason for choosing AI is the potential for AI to transform industry and is the future of the world, and hence the choice of AI.

VIT Pune: A balance of academics, placements, and student life.

Placements: Placements at VIT are promising, with around 85-90% of students being placed. The highest package this year is around 30 LPA, and the average is around 7-8 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Barclays, JP Morgan, and others. Nearly 75% of students secure internships in companies like Tata, L&T, etc. Additionally, various abroad opportunities (student exchange programs,) are available at VIT.

Infrastructure: The college and hostel are well-equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Labs provide hands-on experience with facilities such as IoT labs, AIML workplaces, etc. The canteen/mess food is average but offers multiple options. Labs are kept clean, and other facilities are decent.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. Most of them have done or pursuing a Ph.D. with expertise in fields like AI, ML, Data Analytics, etc. The curriculum is industry-oriented and includes a lot of hands-on projects. Exams are moderately difficult, but regular study promises a good GPA. The evaluation scheme is fair, with continuous assessments and end-sem exams.

Other: VIT Pune has an energetic and diverse crowd, fostering a competitive environment. There are various events and fests throughout the year, with more than 50 clubs to interact with. Various hackathons are organized by different technical clubs. The campus is average.

Excellent academic curriculum.

Placements: Placement at this college is good. Most students around 90 percent got placed in top companies. The average package for computer department is around 10 LPA and the minimum package is around 4 LPA. It can go a maximum of up to 40 LPA-50 LPA and top companies visit this college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure for my course at VIT Pune is excellent. The department offers modern classrooms equipped with smart boards and projectors, and well-equipped computers. Technical labs are available for hands-on learning, and a high-speed Wi-Fi connection throughout the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members at VIT Pune are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. They are knowledgeable in their respective domains and encourage students to think critically and engage in research and innovation. Semester exams are moderately challenging, focusing on conceptual understanding and application. With consistent study and guidance from faculty members, students find the exams manageable. Good college, faculty members, decent activities, and placements.

Placements: I think 80% of students are placed and the highest package is around 40 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top companies like Infosys and many others are recruiting. The top roles are software engineers, web developers and AI engineers. If the student is really skilled and passionate about the work, then the top companies will definitely select him or her .

Infrastructure: It is quite good and labs are good. Classrooms are okay and Wi-Fi is not so good. The library is good. The college should improve their Wi-Fi and internet connection and other things in college are good. The food of the canteen is good and the price is decent, not so high .

Faculty: Faculty members are really good and supportive and provide guidance but some are not good. The curriculum is good but students should also work hard and semester exams are of mid difficulty and reviews and presentations happen in college and math papers are conducted offline .

Other: College is decent for all the activities and studies and my course is future-oriented, which is AI and events, and all are really good, like Vishwakarandak.

I am satisfied with college facilities and placements.

Placements: In my course, 85% to 90% of students were placed in 2024. The highest salary package was 51 lakhs per annum with an average package of 8.5 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package was around 3 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Siemens, TCS, Microsoft, and IBM.

Infrastructure: The college has wifi, labs that are very good and clean, and teachers who pay attention to each and every student during lab. There is also a library on campus. The hostel has limited seats, but the canteen has decent food, and there are sports and games clubs on campus.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable about their subjects. They explain the material very well. However, I personally had difficulty understanding some of the teachers. I think this is a matter of personal preference. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the workplace.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Artificial Intelligence. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the workplace. However, I think the course could be improved by making it more hands-on and interactive. The campus is small, but the events are awesome.
