
NIFT Exam Centre 2027 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to conduct the written exams for NIFT 2027 in 102 cities across India. The list of exam centres for NIFT 2027 will be given in the admission guidelines. The candidate has to select their preferred exam centre when filling out the NIFT application form 2027. The candidate has to select the city from the drop-down menu in order of priority.
NTA will be releasing the NIFT city intimation slip for Stage 1 and Stage 2. The slip contains the name of the city in which the NIFT exam will be conducted. It will be released so that candidates can plan travel in advance. Stage 2 exam is expected to be conducted at 28 centres in 20 cities.

The tentative exam timings for the NIFT 2027 exam are given below. The candidate must arrive at the NIFT 2027 exam as per the exam timings released by the exam officials. NTA NIFT Stage 2 Centre
NIFT Stage 2 Exam will be held tentatively at 28 centres in 20 cities. The centre details will be mentioned in the Admit card. Candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof along with the Admit Card to the Test Centre. It is mandatory to reach the centre before 9:30 AM (tentative). Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam after 9:30 AM.

NIFT 2027 Checklist
On the day of the NIFT exam, candidates need to carry all the documents and stationery:
- NIFT Admit Card: Candidates without a printout of the NIFT 2027 admit card will not be allowed to sit in the exam. Digital copies will not be accepted. Also, ensure that you paste a photograph on the designated space and bring the self-declaration copy duly filled in.
- Bring an additional photograph to be attached to the attendance sheet.
- The photo ID must be valid and original. Photocopies or printouts of the ID proof will not be accepted.
- Stationery: You need to bring a ballpoint pen, pencils, erasers, and rulers.
- If you are appearing in the CAT exam, then you are also allowed to bring coloring and drawing materials.

For NIFT Preparation, candidates need to solve 30-40 sample papers in 6 months. When the exams are very near, one sample paper should be solved daily.
There is no option to apply for a recheck of NIFT results. If the candidate has any doubts, they are allowed to challenge NIFT provisional answer key. Final Answer key is made on the basis of Provsional answer key.
NTA releases the recorded responses for the NIFT exam. The recorded responses are a carbon copy of the candidate's answer sheet.
- Recorded responses bring transparency to the conduct of the NIFT entrance exam.
- Candidates can check their attempted and unattempted answers and calcultate probable score.
- It helps to raise objections against the Provisional Answer Key.
There are 20 participating institutes of NIFT that offer the B. Des and B.F.Tech programmes. B. Des programme offers specializations in the following programs: Fashion Design (FD), Leather Design (LD), Accessory Design (AD), Textile Design (TD), Knitwear Design (KD), Fashion Communication (FC).
For B.F.Tech, cutoff is released for Apparel Production.

NIFT Situation Test is a hands on test. It evaluates a candidate skills for material handling and innovative ability with a given set of materials. Candidates are required to make a 3D model.
The exam pattern for NIFT GAT varies from one course to another. The total number of questions asked in NIFT GAT is mentioned below: BDes: 100 questions, BFTech: 150 questions, MDes: 120 questions, MFTech: 150 questions, MFM: 150 questions. Note that the GAT or the General Ability Test will be conducted in a computer-based mode. Questions will be objective-type. The GAT paper for the B. Des and M.Des programs will be of 120 minutes. However, the GAT paper for the B.FTech, M.FTech, and MFM courses will be for 180 minutes.
NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) provides an opportunity to candidates who have completed their Diploma in relevant or related fields of Design & Technology for direct admission to the third semester of UG programmes of NIFT.
