AICTE GATE 2025 Scholarship Date: The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) will soon open the GATE 2025 scholarship portal on its official website. The scholarship registration is valid for GATE-qualified candidates. The GATE 2025 scholarship registration link is likely to open in the first week of September 2025. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students who qualify for GATE or GPAT and are pursuing full-time postgraduate programs such as M.E., M.Tech, M.Arch, or M.Pharm in AICTE-approved institutions. AICTE GATE 2025 Scholarship: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is geared to launch its much-awaited GATE and GPAT Post Graduate (PG) Scholarship portal during the first week of September 2025, kickstarting the application process for eligible candidates of the academic year 2025–26. The portal link will be opened to generate students' unique ID to avail the scholarship.

AICTE GATE 2025 Scholarship Dates
Last year, the authorities released the GATE 2025 scholarship official notification on September 1. Institutes and students who are eligible to avail the AICTE GATE 2025 scholarship can check the tentative GATE 2025 stipend registration dates below -
No, applicants cannot opt for any paper from the combination list. Candidates can only select from the options provided by the GATE authorities in the GATE 2026 paper combination list. For example, a CS student has the free will to choose from the following set of exam papers: DA, EC, GE, MA, PH, and ST.
You can apply for two GATE papers (maximum). While filling out the GATE application form, you need to select the primary and secondary paper. The GATE secondary paper must be from the subject list prescribed by the GATE authorities. Before adding the paper, go through the subject combination list and GATE paper codes.
Candidates opting for two GATE papers will have to pay double the fees mentioned -
For example,
- If a general category candidate is applying for two GATE papers, then he/she has to pay a fee of INR 4000 (during the regular timeline) and INR 5000 (during the extended period).
- The same applies to the female, SC, ST, and PwD category candidates, INR 2000 (during the regular time period) and INR 3000 (during the extended period).

GATE 2025 Stipend/Financial Assistance Details
- Financial Assistance given to M.Tech students is Rs. 12,400 per month and generally paid for 22 months.
- Financial Assistance given for Ph.D. programs (Direct Ph.D. after B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc equivalent with a valid GATE score) is Rs. 37,000 per month for the first two years and Rs. 42,000 per month from the third to the fifth year.
AICTE GATE 2025 Scholarship Eligibility
GATE 2025 qualified candidates can check the eligibility for the GATE 2025 scholarship below -
- Must have a valid GATE score at the time of admission to the full-time MTech or ME programme.
- The institute must be AICTE-approved to receive the GATE stipend.
- Part-time, sponsored, or distance-learning candidates are not eligible.
- Applicants must have a personal savings account in their name.
The scholarship is tenable for up to 24 months (or the duration of the course, whichever is shorter)

- Submit the portal and log in to check the status of the application form.

All eligible students shall upload their information on or before the due date on the AICTE web portal, and the Institute shall complete the procedure of student data verification and approval for the eligibility for the receipt of scholarship on or before the prescribed dates.
