GATE 2026 Chemical Engineering (CH) Syllabus: Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of the GATE 2026 chemical engineering (CH) is available on website. The CH paper comprises questions of 100 mark and is conducted online. The total time duration is three years. Check GATE CH 2026 marking scheme below -
- General Aptitude - 15 marks
- Engineering Mathematics - 13 marks
- Subject-specific questions - 72 marks
For one mark MCQ, 1/3rd mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. For a 2-mark question (MCQ), 2/3rd mark will be deducted for incorrect response. There is no negative marking for NATs and MSQs.
