SRMJEEE 2026 Application Fee: The exam body, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, is accepting SRMJEEE 2026 registrations from November 3, 2025 onwardsThe SRMJEEE 2026 registration last date for phase 1 was April 16, 2026. To successfully submit SRMJEEE application form 2026 students had to pay application fee in online mode. 

As mentioned in its official portal - applications.srmist.edu.in/btech, the SRMJEEE application fee is INR 1400. This amount can be paid in online mode via credit card/debit card/net banking. The application fee is the same for all candidates irrespective of their category. Q:   If I am preparing for JEE exam, do I need to prepare separately for SRMJEEE?
A: 

SRMJEE is the exam conducted by the SRM University and if you are preparing for the JEE exam than it is more than enough for you and you don't have to prepare from somewhere else. There are total of 360 marks and of 120 questions in total which has 4 sections and they are as follows: Mathematics Chemistry Physics English and logical reasoning In mathematics, mainly focus on your basics using NCERT and mainly focus on speed and accuracy. There will only be questions. In physics, prepare using HC Verma volume 1 and 2. Study through the NCERT books. In Chemistry, prepare using NCERT books and that will be more than enough. For English, prepare using NCERT books of class 11th and 12th. JEE Preparations are more than enough for SRMJEE. No one (usually) prepares for SRMJEE separately. You study for JEE give your exams book a slot for SRMJEE as per your convenience (after JEE-Main obviously) study the extra portion and practice the mock test of SRMJEE as many as possible. Just focus on speed and accuracy for SRMJEE. Just be aware of silly mistake made in questions are easy because choices are really confusing.

Q:   Where to apply for GMCET 2026?
A: 

Students can apply from official website of GMCET - gmcet.org. To apply they will first have to register, fill details, and log in using their credentials. To successfully submit the application form, aspirants will have to pay the application fee in online mode.

Q:   What is the application fee of SRM for international applicants?
A: 

The application fees of SRM for international applicants is USD 50 $. It must be noted that NR or PIO card holder need not appear in SRMJEEE. They just need to fill the application form and the selection will be based in qualifying exam scores.

For SRMJEEE 2026, the application process is conducted online through the official SRM admission portal. Here are some of the details related to the SRMJEEE application fee and mode - 

SRMJEEE Fees and Charges

  • The application fee is INR 1,400 per phase.
  • If students wish to appear for more than one phase (e.g., Phase 1 and Phase 2), they must pay a fee separately for each phase.
  • International applicants (including NRI, PIO, and OCI cardholders) typically pay different fee, often cited as USD 50 or approximately INR 3,000.
  • The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, even if students do not attend the exam.

SRMJEEE Application Fee Payment Methods

You can pay the fee through the following electronic modes: 

Net Banking: Using your online banking credentials.

Cards: Credit Cards and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).

UPI: Unified Payments Interface apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm.

Online Voucher: Some sources mention an option to use a pre-purchased voucher code.

Offline Mode: While the application is primarily online, some processes allow for a Demand Draft (DD) of ₹1,200 (or as specified) in favor of "SRMIST," payable at Chennai, if applying through an offline form purchase route.

  • Create an account on SRM Application Portal and verify email address.
  • Log in and fill personal, academic, and contact information.
  • Upload a scanned copy of SRMJEEE photograph and signature in prescribed format.
  • Choose phases for which student want to appear in the exam
  • Click on "Make Payment" button.
  • Once transaction is successful, portal will generate an application number.
  • Download and print payment receipt and complete application form for future reference.

Point to note: Do not refresh or click "back" button while transaction is processing to avoid duplicate deductions. If status shows "Pending" after payment, wait 24 hours before trying again or contact SRM Helpdesk.

  • While filling the application form, students will also have to do slot booking.
  • After the slot booking is done, the exam body will issue SRMJEEE admit card to all candidates who successfully submitted application form.

To apply for SRMJEEE PG, candidates need to meet the minimum qualifying criteria which includes academic criteria and minimum qualifying criteria, which are as follows -

  • BTech/B.E in the relevant discipline
  • Minimum qualifying mark of 50%

The SRMJEEE PG 2026 phase III application form last date is July 10. Registered candidates will have to attempt the remote-proctored exam on July 15.

The last date to apply for SRMJEEE PG Phase II application form is May 11, and the exam will be held on May 16 in remote-proctored mode.

The admit card is released a few days before the exam date. The exam conducting authorities will inform applicants on registered email ID regarding the issuance of SRMJEEE PG admit card.

No, candidates cannot change their SRMJEEE M.Tech exam date once allotted. Students will have to appear for the exam on the date they have applied for.

The difficulty level of Physics section in SRMJEEE is similar to class 11 and 12 exam. Students can score good marks in SRMJEEE by studying trough NCERT class 11 and 12 books of Physics.

As per the details available in the information brochure, SRMJEEE 2026 will have a total 130 questions, 35 each from Physics and Chemistry, 40 from Mathematics and 20 from English & Aptitude.

No, it is not mandatory to appear in all three phases of SRMJEEE. Candidates can appear in any one, two or all three phases, depending on their choice. If candidates appear in more than one phase, the best of all attempted score will be considered for admission.
