SRM Application Form 2026: The SRMIST has closed accepting registrations for the SRMJEEE 2026 for the phase 1. It started the window from November 3, 2025 onwards. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria could apply till April 26, 2026 for the first phase from applications.srmist.edu.in/btech. 

While filling the SRMJEEE application form 2026, candidates had to upload all their documents as per the prescribed as one small mistake can lead to their candidature being cancelled. Along with the SRMJEEE 2026 documents, candidates must also pay the exam fee of SRMJEEE which is INR 1400 through credit card/debit card/net banking. Q:   What is SRMJEEE online proctored test?
A: 

SRMJEEE is held in online proctored mode. This means candidates can take the exams from their homes and they do not have to visit any exam center for taking the exam. Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer's desktop, webcam video and audio. In Proctored Online Exam, you will be under constant observation during the entire duration of the test via artificial intelligence tools and live monitoring by the proctors. Any suspected activity will lead to the immediate termination of exam. The AI tools will be able to detect any movement of face or eyeballs and highlight the same automatically. Thus, the candidate will be under constant vigilance of proctor through live feed to deter any suspicious activity of the candidate.

Q:   What is the total marks in SRMJEEE exam and what is the mode of the exam?

The total marks in SRMJEEE is revised from 125 to 130 marks and mode of the exam is online remote proctored.

Q:   What is SRMJEEE exam?
A: 

SRMJEEE is an annual entrance test conducted by SRMIST to shortlist candidates for various technical and non-technical courses for its participating campuses. As per exam pattern, the test is held for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. The question paper consist of 125 MCQs based on the syllabus of Class 11th and 12th for PCM/B and English & Aptitude.

As the SRMJEEE will be held in RPOM mode, candidates can appear for the entrance from the comfort of their home. They can attempt the test using their personal laptop or desktop, however, prior to the exam gets started, they will be required to take a live photo of themselves and a clear photo ID card on-screen before the test starts.

  • Class 10 Marksheet for name verification and date of birth proof.
  • Class 12 Marksheet/Certificate for entering marks and school/board details
  • Candidates appearing in 12th exam can apply without it, however, during the document verification they will have to share it
  • Valid Photo ID Proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Passport for identity verification
  • Net Banking, Credit/Debit card, or UPI details for SRMJEEE 2026 registration fees which is INR 1400 per phase. 

SRMJEEE 2026 Registrations: Special Category Documents

  • NRI/PIO/OCI candidates must apply via International Application Form and provide valid passport, visa, and proof of status (e.g., parent's work permit).
  • For the counseling stage, students will have to arrange SRMJEEE Rank Card, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, and a cancelled cheque leaf.

What is the SRMJEEE exam?

The SRMJEEE is an annual entrance exam which is conducted by SRMIST across multiple phases. In 2026, the SRMJEEE for phase 1 will be held from April 23-28, 2026, phase 2 from June 10-15 and phase 3 from July 4-5. The SRMJEEE will be conducted in remote proctored online mode to shortlist candidates for B.Tech courses across various campuses of SRMJEEE.

To apply for SRMJEEE PG, candidates need to meet the minimum qualifying criteria which includes academic criteria and minimum qualifying criteria, which are as follows -

  • BTech/B.E in the relevant discipline
  • Minimum qualifying mark of 50%

The SRMJEEE PG 2026 phase III application form last date is July 10. Registered candidates will have to attempt the remote-proctored exam on July 15.

The last date to apply for SRMJEEE PG Phase II application form is May 11, and the exam will be held on May 16 in remote-proctored mode.

The admit card is released a few days before the exam date. The exam conducting authorities will inform applicants on registered email ID regarding the issuance of SRMJEEE PG admit card.

No, candidates cannot change their SRMJEEE M.Tech exam date once allotted. Students will have to appear for the exam on the date they have applied for.

The difficulty level of Physics section in SRMJEEE is similar to class 11 and 12 exam. Students can score good marks in SRMJEEE by studying trough NCERT class 11 and 12 books of Physics.

As per the details available in the information brochure, SRMJEEE 2026 will have a total 130 questions, 35 each from Physics and Chemistry, 40 from Mathematics and 20 from English & Aptitude.

The application fees of SRM for international applicants is USD 50 $. It must be noted that NR or PIO card holder need not appear in SRMJEEE. They just need to fill the application form and the selection will be based in qualifying exam scores.

No, it is not mandatory to appear in all three phases of SRMJEEE. Candidates can appear in any one, two or all three phases, depending on their choice. If candidates appear in more than one phase, the best of all attempted score will be considered for admission.
