SRMJEEE exam day guidelines:
The exam is conducted in home based proctored mode hence students must follow these guidelines -
- Log in to exam using details provided in admit card (Password).
- The examination will be of 120 minutes.
- Log in least 60 minutes before the exam to take a photograph of themselves and their ID proof and to read instructions.
- Candidates can't end the exam before the prescribed time limit.
- Only one question will appear on the screen, and candidates must answer the question or skip. Once moved to next question, they will not ber able to go back to answered/skipped questions.
- On completion students must follow the instructions provided to close the exam.
- At last there will be declaration appearing on the screen 'I want to submit the exam' button.
- The quit password needs to be entered to EXIT THE EXAM (WHICH IS MANDATORY), which will be available in the Instruction Manual for taking the exam.
- The exam also closes automatically once the scheduled exam time elapses.
SRMJEEE is conducted across multiple phases. Last year, it was held in 3 phases. While filling the online application, students can fill in their details and select their preferred slot.
As the SRMJEEE will be held in RPOM mode, candidates can appear for the entrance from the comfort of their home. They can attempt the test using their personal laptop or desktop, however, prior to the exam gets started, they will be required to take a live photo of themselves and a clear photo ID card on-screen before the test starts.

- Class 10 Marksheet for name verification and date of birth proof.
- Class 12 Marksheet/Certificate for entering marks and school/board details
- Candidates appearing in 12th exam can apply without it, however, during the document verification they will have to share it
- Valid Photo ID Proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Passport for identity verification
- Net Banking, Credit/Debit card, or UPI details for SRMJEEE 2026 registration fees which is INR 1400 per phase.
SRMJEEE 2026 Registrations: Special Category Documents
- NRI/PIO/OCI candidates must apply via International Application Form and provide valid passport, visa, and proof of status (e.g., parent's work permit).
- For the counseling stage, students will have to arrange SRMJEEE Rank Card, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, and a cancelled cheque leaf.

What is the SRMJEEE exam?
The SRMJEEE is an annual entrance exam which is conducted by SRMIST across multiple phases. In 2026, the SRMJEEE for phase 1 will be held from April 23-28, 2026, phase 2 from June 10-15 and phase 3 from July 4-5. The SRMJEEE will be conducted in remote proctored online mode to shortlist candidates for B.Tech courses across various campuses of SRMJEEE.

They must have a functioning laptop with camera and microphone feature along with the below specifications -
- Intel i3 (4TH Gen) equivalent CPU or above.
- 4gb RAM or above.
- Internet Speed - Minimum 1 MBPS
- 2 Gb free hard disk space
- Windows 8 or above Mac 10.14 Mojave and above
Candidates must follow the below instructions to appear in the remote proctored exam:
- Do not move from your seats.
- Don't take bio breaks during the exam.
- Sit facing the screen throughout the exam.
- Do not use mobile phones, digital watches, or any other electronic devices.
- Do not wear sunglasses or headphones.
- Ensure there is enough light in the room and you are the only person present. Do not entertain any other person in the room.
- Do not take help or assistance from anyone.
- Do not keep any sort of text or chits of paper or books, notes/rough paper around you.
- Do not log in from multiple devices.
- Do not google or search.
- Do not lip-sync or read questions aloud.
- Do not cover your face with hair/mask/clothing or anything.
- Do not have background noise/voices/music/TV.
- No eating or drinking during the exam except for water.
