UPTAC Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for UPTAC 2025 counselling, aspirants must have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in UP or have parents who are domiciled in UP, subject to the specified eligibility conditions. Students from outside UP can also participate in the counselling process if they meet the eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority. Direct admission of 5% of the total intake in state-funded & private institutions (except MBA/MCA)

B.Arch applicants must have qualified for NATA 2025.

Q:   How is the seat allotment done in UPTAC counselling?
A:

UPTAC seat allotment for BTech admission is done based on JEE Main 2025 ranks and the choices filled by the candidates in the UPTAC choice filling rounds. The candidates will be allotted seats based on the marks of JEE Main only. However, in the special round, for the available vacant seats, the allotments will be based on the following order and based on marks of:

  1. JEE (Main)-2025
  2. CUET UG 2025
  3. Intermediate (10+2)
Q:   How are the seats allotted in UPTAC counselling?
A:

Seats in UPTAC counselling is allotted based on respective entrance exam scores. For BTech, the ranks of JEE Main is used to allot seats. Seats are allotted by taking into consideration the choices filled by the candidates, their ranks and their category.

Q:   What is the UPTAC counselling registration fee?
A:

The UPTAC counselling registration fee is INR 1000. The candidates pay the application fee online using modes like net banking/debit card/credit card.
