UPTAC Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2025
To be eligible for UPTAC 2025 counselling, aspirants must have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in UP or have parents who are domiciled in UP, subject to the specified eligibility conditions. The last date to apply for UPTAC 2025 counselling is June 30. The online application form for UPTAC 2025 counselling is available at uptac.admissions.nic.in. Admission to various courses is based on national-level entrance exam scores like JEE Mains, CUET (UG/PG), and NATA.
The candidates who are eligible for UPTAC counselling have to complete the UPTAC counselling 2025 registration, upload documents, complete document verification, fill choices, check allotted seats, submit willingness and pay the seat confirmation fee.

UPTAC seat allotment for BTech admission is done based on JEE Main 2025 ranks and the choices filled by the candidates in the UPTAC choice filling rounds. The candidates will be allotted seats based on the marks of JEE Main only. However, in the special round, for the available vacant seats, the allotments will be based on the following order and based on marks of:
- JEE (Main)-2025
- CUET UG 2025
- Intermediate (10+2)
Seats in UPTAC counselling is allotted based on respective entrance exam scores. For BTech, the ranks of JEE Main is used to allot seats. Seats are allotted by taking into consideration the choices filled by the candidates, their ranks and their category.
The UPTAC counselling registration fee is INR 1000. The candidates pay the application fee online using modes like net banking/debit card/credit card.
