Himt is very good at Training, Faculty, Accommodation, placements.

Placements: About all the students who are good at academics got the placement with very good fresher package some of our batch got placed in ITF companies, Rpsl companies. I am one who got placed by the college, and I'm really happy with the package too.

Infrastructure: Compared to other colleges Himt gives very good hospitality and Food is good and all the basic facilities are there and it is located in peaceful atmosphere, library is good and all marine related stuff is available with internet connection, classrooms with digital learning.

Faculty: Faculty is helpful and very caring always gives you confidence to get a job. And administration also very good. The Workshops will make you ship ready, Instructors will teach you all the operations that you have to do onboard a ship, so that will help you on you the nearest future.

Other: At the beginning I felt confused and tense, but the faculty and wardens took care of me and I felt really comfortable, fests and events and happening will be there every month of the year.

I am satisfied with the college because of excellent faculty members and good placements.

Placements: I am not sure about placements percentage, but a good number of students got placed. I don't have much idea about the salary packages offered. Goodwood Shipping Management was the top recruiting company of our college. Students got internships in companies like Goodwood, Arka Global Marine Services and few more are yet to come.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. Many facilities were available on the campus like a ship on campus, swimming pool, playground, basketball ground, library, impressive classrooms and labs. The food served was very hygienic, and the best part of the college was its discipline.

Faculty: Teachers and practical instructors in our college were well experienced. They taught in a very impressive manner. Quality of education was very good. The course curriculum was relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. Many activities are conducted in the college to make students more interested and motivated towards their career.

Other: I chose this course so that I could sail on ships because that's my passion. I want to be a successful seafarer. The best thing about this course is that it teaches us the basics of both deck and engine. So at the end of the course, we can examine ourselves and know which department we exactly fit. We can choose whichever department we are comfortable in.

Merchant Navy- Preparing for life.

Placements: Around 90% of my batchmates got placed in campus interview. Even after leaving the college, it was surprising that the placement team contacted the students who were not placed and offered them a chance to sit for interviews with other companies along with the exiting batch of students. Hence, definitely by now all my batchmates would have been placed and would be actively working onboard vessels.

Infrastructure: We lived in a dormitory. The dorm was huge and neat. The food was great along with other facilities. The only issue was that there was no Wi-Fi on campus as they wanted us to get prepared for the sea. The ship on campus is excellent and the labs are well maintained and huge.

Faculty: The teaching quality was great. The teachers were strict so as to train us for the ship. I didn't like the strict behaviour at that time but now I understand why they were strict as now it helps me in my professional life. The course was very relevant and the staff said what the important topics were which were mainly asked during placements.

Other: 1. I chose this course because I wanted to get into merchant navy. 2. The dorms could be fitted with AC since it gets little hot in summer. 3. Campus was very beautiful and lot of trees and greenery.

Gp rating course from HIMT I Spent my atmosphere filled with motivation and enthusiasm.

Placements: 90% of students get placement due to extraordinary training and education provided by dedicated teachers and mentor Full practical workshops thrice in a week the highest package offered was 20l. P. a and minimum was 8 Lacs per annum Top companies coming to college are M.Sc Maersk synnergy etc. From my course 70% students got internships In my course role offered are general purpose rating in deck side or engine side.

Infrastructure: All facilities including playground, mess, hostel, library, practical labs, engineering labs, bedroom, smart classroom everything with great teaching faculty and non teaching facilities are available Good quality south Indian food are served daily different dishes.

Faculty: Teaching faculty is excellent They are very knowledgeable and provide quality education that matches the requirements Fully relevant course curriculum Semester exams are easy and minimum 40% marks required for passing Fully practical classes availab.

Other: I chose those course due to its high placement with interesting salary packages They should allow casual uniform also sometimes outside the lodges Many intercollegiate fests are organized and camps are designed in order to provide knowledge to students from various regional locations and colleges.

HIMT will teach you in every prospect. If you want to make yourself great, then join in HIMT.

Placements: HIMT gives placement assistance. They help and provided all the needs even after completing training for the job interview. Around 75 to 80% of trainees got placed in worlds top companies. Placements are available for meritorious students.

Infrastructure: The accommodation building is so healthy and eco friendly. Beds and the entire infrastructure are well-equipped. The entire campus is under CCTV surveillance. All the classroom also have CCTV cameras and well-equipped modern classroom facilities. Daily foods served are too healthy.

Faculty: All the faculty members on the training academy are so knowledgeable and down to earth person. Whatever you doubt you have in your mind for any topic, you can ask any faculty. They describe to you how long you couldn't understand. They conduct class tests every month and point out what is trainees problem. They give way to solve the problem.

Other: I learned a lot of things, not only in my training season but also from our seniors. In this campus, there are GME, B.Sc. (Nautical) and B.Tech (marine) those seniors are also so decent and disciplined. They teach you to become the best mariner. There are the chances of learning musical instruments and playing every type of games like cricket, football, basketball, swimming, table tennis, etc.
