The overall the highest package for the academic year 2022-23 stood at INR 1.31 crore per annum and was grabbed by UG students (BTech, DD, and IDDD). The highest package offered to the 2022 passing-out batch was INR 2.14 crore per annum. Looking at the past three years' record, year-on-year growth was recorded in the highest package. No, JEE exams are not mandatory for BSc admissions at IIT Madras. Candidates who wish to take admissions into the BSc course at IIT Madras must appear for IISER entrance examination. The admissions into IIT Madras BSc courses are decided on merit basis where, the scores obtained by candidates in the IISER entrance exam are taken into account to decide the admissions.

DOMS IIT Madras cutoff for the Management courses including MBA is based on valid CAT scores.
