SUAT Journalism & Mass Communication & Design Pattern 2025: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

SUAT paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. The authorities will prepare the questions based on topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Communication and General Aptitude. Each question will consist of four options out of which the correct one has to be selected. The selected answer has to be submitted before the end of the examination. SUAT question paper will be prepared to assess the candidate's knowledge of the subject.

According to the SUAT exam pattern, the total duration of the entrance examination is 1 hour 30 minutes. Candidates will have to attempt 150 objective multiple-choice questions within the allotted duration. No extra time will be provided to the candidates to complete the examination. Therefore, the candidates are advised to practice and work on their time mangement skills so that they are able to complete the examination within the allotted duration.

While preparing for SUAT, the candidates will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Communication and General Aptitude. The level of SUAT syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying exam syllabus. While preparing for the exam, the candidates are advised to carefully check the syllabus so that they are well-prepared and have a higher chance of scoring well in the SUAT.

As per the official SUAT exam pattern, the candidates will be allotted one mark for every correct answer. The authorities will not negatively mark the incorrect responses submitted by the candidates. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as possible to raise their chances of securing the marks that they need for admission into their preferred course.

Candidates are advised to check the list of prohibited items before reporting at the SUAT exam centre. Any electronic items such as mobile phones, laptops, calculators, smart watches, etc., will not be allowed inside the centre. If the candidates are found with a prohibited item inside the centre, then they will be disqualified. Since no provision will be provided at the exam centre to store the items, the candidates are advised to leave them with their guardians outside the centre.

While reporting at the SUAT exam centres, the candidates will be required to carry certain documents. All candidates will have to present their SUAT admit card and valid identity proof. Any one of the following identity proofs can be presented by the candidates - Aadaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID/Passport/Driving License/any Govt. approved identity proof. If the candidates fail to present these documents then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

SUAT syllabus will be available online at suat.sharda.ac.in. Candidates will be able to access the subjects, units and topics to be studied for the entrance exam through the syllabus of SUAT. During the preparation process, the candidates are advised to be careful and check the syllabus so that they are aware of the topics to prepare for the exam. Knowing the syllabus beforehand will allow the candidates to accordingly prepare their study plan for the exam.

All candidates will have to attempt the SUAT 2025 exam to be qualified for admissions into the BTech courses offered by the authorities. The total duration of SUAT 2025 is 1 hour 30 minutes, and the candidates will have to attempt 100 objective multiple-choice questions.

Candidates will be able to check the details regarding how the entrance examination will be held through the exam pattern of SUAT. No other mode will be used to release the SUAT exam pattern. Yes. SUAT will be held online i.e., as a computer-based test. The candidates will have to report at their respective centres to attempt SUAT. Candidates also have the choice of attempting the exam as a home proctor-based test. The SUAT question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions and the candidates will have to select the correct option and submit it online. Candidates will be required to book slots for the entrance exam.
