The SSC CHSL application form was released on June 23, 2025. The last date to fill out and submit the SSC CHSL form was July 18, 2025. The last date to pay the SSC CHSL fee was July 19, 2025. Those who passed 10+2 exams or Class 12 could apply online for the SSC CHSL examination. The SSC CHSL application correction window was available from July 25 to 26, 2025, on the SSC new website- ssc.gov.in.
Candidates first needed to carry out the SSC OTR registration before filling out the application form. After generating the SSC registration number, candidates could fill out the SSC CHSL form 2025.

SSC CHSL Application Status 2025
The regional websites of the Commission will release the SSC CHSL 2025 application status for the exam in June/July 2025. The candidates will be required to check their application status to know their exam date. The SSC KKR is expected to release the application status before any other region.

How to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2025 exam?
The Commission released the SSC CHSL notification on its official website - ssc.gov.in on June 23. Along with the official notification, the Commission released the SSC CHSL application form on its official website. Candidates had around 30 days to fill out the SSC CHSL 2025 form. The SSC CHSL application form is filled out online only. The candidates are required to log in with their OTR and select the CHSL apply link to fill out the application form. Documents/Information Required for SSC CHSL Online Applications
Before starting with the SSC CHSL application process, candidates should keep ready the following documents/information:

SSC CHSL Photo Live Capture
It may be noted here that candidates are not required to upload scanned images of their photograph on the CHSL application form 2025. The new application module on the website- ssc.gov.in captures live photo of candidates. However, candidates need to upload a scanned image of their signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 to 20 KB) with 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height) dimensions. For capturing SSC CHSL live photo, candidates need to have a webcam on a computer/ laptop or an Android device for capturing live photo. Candidates need to fulfill the following requirements for live photos.
- Find a place with good light and plain background.

- Do not wear a cap, mask, glasses or spectacles.

Note: Applications with blurred photographs or signatures will be rejected.
Once done, candidates can click on the 'Save Draft' and thereafter, the 'Final Submit' button to submit the registration form. On clicking the button, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to candidates' mobile numbers or email IDs. Candidates need to enter the OTP and click on Submit. On clicking the button, the registration form will be submitted successfully and a registration ID will be generated on the screen. The login password will be sent to candidates on their registered email ID. Candidates must note down the ID and password and keep them for future reference.

Pay SSC CHSL 2025 Application Fee
Candidates can pay SSC CHSL 2025 application fee online or offline mode. Application fees in offline mode can be paid through SBI challan. Application fees in online mode can be paid through BHIM UPI/internet banking or by using a credit/debit card of Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay.
Women of all categories and male candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from the application fee.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) allows candidates to make any changes to the application form after the final submission. Candidates can make the CHSL form correction by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of the Commission- ssc.gov.in.
