SSC CHSL Application Form 2025: Status Link Soon @ssc.gov.in

The regional websites of the Commission will release the SSC CHSL 2025 application status for the exam in June/July 2025. The candidates will be required to check their application status to know their exam date. The SSC KKR is expected to release the application status before any other region.

Candidates will be able to check their SSC CHSL application status 2025 by following the given steps:

Step 1: The candidates need to visit the official SSC website - https://ssc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the admit card icon given at the top navigation

Step 3: Login with the One Time Registration Number

Step 4: Click on the corresponding regional website link, the regional website will open

Step 5: Click on the link for the SSC CHSL Application status

Step 6: Enter the registration number and date of birth

Step 7: Download the SSC CHSL application status.

The Commission released the SSC CHSL notification on its official website - ssc.gov.in on June 23. Along with the official notification, the Commission released the SSC CHSL application form on its official website. Candidates had around 30 days to fill out the SSC CHSL 2025 form. The SSC CHSL application form is filled out online only. The candidates are required to log in with their OTR and select the CHSL apply link to fill out the application form. Check below for the steps to apply online for the SSC CHSL exam:

Firstly, candidates need to fill out the SSC CHSL registration form available on the official website of the commission. For the same, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Click on the ‘New User? Register Now' link

Documents/Information Required for SSC CHSL Online Applications

Before starting with the SSC CHSL application process, candidates should keep ready the following documents/information:

Once all the details are filled in, candidates can click on the Save button to proceed further.

SSC CHSL Photo Live Capture

It may be noted here that candidates are not required to upload scanned images of their photograph on the CHSL application form 2025. The new application module on the website- ssc.gov.in captures live photo of candidates. However, candidates need to upload a scanned image of their signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 to 20 KB) with 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height) dimensions. For capturing SSC CHSL live photo, candidates need to have a webcam on a computer/ laptop or an Android device for capturing live photo. Candidates need to fulfill the following requirements for live photos.

• Find a place with good light and plain background.
• Camera should be at eye level.
• Position yourself directly in front of the camera and look straight.
• Do not wear a cap, mask, glasses or spectacles.

SSC CHSL Signature: Know how to upload

Next, candidates need to upload their scanned signature in JPG/ JPEG format as per the specifications mentioned below:

Note:  Applications with blurred photographs or signatures will be rejected.

Once done, candidates can click on the 'Save Draft' and thereafter, the 'Final Submit' button to submit the registration form. On clicking the button, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to candidates' mobile numbers or email IDs. Candidates need to enter the OTP and click on Submit. On clicking the button, the registration form will be submitted successfully and a registration ID will be generated on the screen. The login password will be sent to candidates on their registered email ID. Candidates must note down the ID and password and keep them for future reference.

Filling out SSC CHSL Application Form

Pay SSC CHSL 2025 Application Fee

Candidates can pay SSC CHSL 2025 application fee online or offline mode. Application fees in offline mode can be paid through SBI challan. Application fees in online mode can be paid through BHIM UPI/internet banking or by using a credit/debit card of Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay.

Women of all categories and male candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from the application fee.

On successful payment of the application fee, the candidates’ SSC CHSL application process will be complete. All registered candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form and keep it for future reference. 

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) allows candidates to make any changes to the application form after the final submission. Candidates can make the CHSL form correction by following the steps given below:

1. Visit the official website of the Commission- ssc.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the Login link and enter your registration number and password.
3. Go to the 'My Applications' tab under your profile.
4. Go to the ‘Re-Apply’ link under the SSC CHSL recruitment box.
5. Make the desired changes wherever you want.
6. Submit the corrected application form.
7. Pay the SSC CHSL form correction fee or charges (INR 200 for the first time and INR 500 for the second time)
8. Save the confirmation page.

SSC CHSL Form Correction Fees 2025

Candidates need to pay the SSC CHSL form correction charges 2025 of INR 200 for making changes for the first time, and for the second time, candidates need to pay the SSC CHSL correction fees of INR 500. Candidates can pay the SSC CHSL correction charges in online mode through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Credit cards or Debit cards.

Candidates should carefully fill out their SSC CHSL 2025 exam form by providing correct information during the period of submission of online applications. In case any correction is required in the already filled SSC CHSL application form 2025, the candidates can use the ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ to make such corrections. After the expiry of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’, requests for change/ correction/ modification in the application form will not be entertained by the Commission.

In case, candidates forget the password required to login into their SSC registered accounts, they can re-generate it by following the steps mentioned below:

• Visit the official website of SSC
• Click on the Forgot Password link
• Select the permanent state
• Enter registered email ID/ mobile number
• Click on Submit

On clicking the button, candidates will be able to generate a new login password.   

Candidates need to follow the given steps to fill the SSC CHSL post preference form 2025:

• Visit the official website at ssc.gov.in
• Login using your registered username and password
• Select your preferred posts or departments and submit the option-cum-preference form.
• Download and save the confirmation page for future reference

Candidates, who do not submit their post preference(s) within the stipulated time, will not be considered for any post in the Final Result.

Some of the important points that candidates should keep in mind regarding SSC CHSL online applications are:

• Candidates should submit the online applications much before the last date of the application process to avoid any hassle due to heavy website traffic
• Few important details such as Aadhaar number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc need to be entered twice during the application process to avoid mistakes
• Applications received without the payment of the exam fee get rejected
• Candidates who are already registered on the official website of SSC can skip steps the first two steps of the application process mentioned above
• Details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth and class 10 information should be filled in exactly as recorded in the class X certificate
• When the application form is successfully submitted, it is accepted provisionally. Candidates must take the printout of the completed online form and keep it for any future reference.
