Step 1: Log on to the official website of NTA UGC NET - https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the answer key link available for the UGC NET exam

Step 3: Click on any one of the login links:

• Through the application number and password
• Through application number and date of birth

Step 4: Enter the following details:

• Application number
• Date of birth or password
• Security pin as shown on the screen

Step 5: Click on the Sign In button

Step 6: Download UGC NET answer key, response sheet, and question paper

All candidates who are not satisfied with the answer(s) in the key can challenge it in the prescribed format on the official website of the exam. However, candidates have to pay non-refundable INR 200 per question in online mode via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI.

• Click on any one of the links: Through the application number and password or the application number and date of birth
• Enter the application number, password/date of birth, and security pin (as shown on the screen)
• Click on Sign In
• Click on the Challenge Answer Key link
• Select the correct answer option ID for the question ID for which the challenge needs to be made
• Click on the 'Save Your Claims' button
• Upload the supporting documents in a single PDF file to support your claim
• Click on the ‘Save Your Claims & Pay Fee’ button
• Pay INR 200 per question in the online mode

The provisional UGC NET answer key 2025 challenge fee will be INR 200 per challenge.
