B.Tech. in Packaging Technology - Batch of 2029

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
A great place for practical learning in printing & packaging.
Placements: Placements in the printing & packaging technology course are decent but still improving. Around 60-70% students get placed every year. Top recruiting companies include ITC, Parksons Packaging, Zircon, TCPL, and Natraj. The highest package goes around 7-8 LPA, the average is around 3-4 LPA, and the lowest can be 2-2.5 LPA. Many students also get internships in corrugation, label printing and flexible packaging companies, which helps in gaining industry exposure. More core printing companies are expected to come in future.
Infrastructure: The university has a large campus with greenery and well-maintained buildings. The printing department is equipped with modern labs, offset and flexographic printing machines, computer labs, and a good library. Wi-Fi is available, and classrooms are clean and spacious. Hostel facilities are good, rooms are maintained properly, and the mess food is average but hygienic. Sports facilities, medical centre, canteen and stationery shops are available on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, supportive & knowledgeable. They focus on both theoretical and practical learning. The curriculum is updated with the latest industry needs like packaging materials, designing, quality control, and printing technologies, which makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, regular assignments and practicals help in clearing easily. The pass percentage is usually high if you study regularly.
Other: I chose this course because the packaging industry is growing fast, offering great career opportunities in food, pharma, printing and manufacturing sectors. The best thing about the course is the practical exposure through labs, machines and internships. One improvement needed is that more companies should visit for placements, and the hostel mess food quality can be improved. Overall, the university gives a balanced experience of academics, skills and campus life.

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology is an overall good university.
Placements: Placements at my university are good across all fields. If we talk about the specific biotech department, then it's far better than the other departments. Students have more options in the research field in companies. There are many departments where placements are very good. The university offers companies the opportunity to organize job fairs on campus, where opportunities and competition increase.
Infrastructure: Basically, there are 4 hostels. Each hostel has Wi-Fi, a canteen, a mess, and TV rooms. There are grounds for playing as well. There are study rooms that are as good as libraries. Medical facilities are also available, as the health center is not far from the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. The teaching quality is also good. The course is relevant but not as good. It prepares students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are both medium and tough. If your preparation is good, then you don't need to worry about exams.
Other: Students in need are sponsored by various scholarships. Events and fests are good, but there are many restrictions for outsiders who want to attend the events. The campus crowd is very good on weekends and weekdays.

Our campus is very good in every field, with lots of greenery and best studies.
Placements: 75 percent of students are placed in this course. The highest package for our course is mostly between 6.5 LPA to 8 LPA. Companies include Infosys and others. Internships depend on students’ marks and their capabilities, but overall the college provides the best opportunities.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good on our campus, including fully AC labs for new ideas, coding practice, Chemistry lab, AutoCAD lab, and more. Hostels have luxurious rooms and clean washrooms. Mess food is average in hostels, and there are four hostels for girls and four hostels for boys.
Faculty: Teachers are of good behavior, helpful to students, and well educated and experienced. College events like hackathon and SIH are very helpful to prepare students and make them industry ready. Semester exams are easy for students who are well prepared and difficult for those who are not prepared.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest and dedication.

Infrastructure is so well. Placement and crowd need to improve if a student is serious about them.
Placements: Alright so coming back to the placement thing, around 60 percent of students got placed in my passing out batch. The highest is around 12 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and average is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and IBM. Around 30 percent of students got internships. Roles offered are software engineer, developer, analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is decent like we get separate Wi-Fi and pass so like you can do your basic work easily. Labs are well-equipped and fully running condition. Library is also AC equipped and fully running well cleaned and big. Quality of students is fine only, like for the first student who got the new hostel, else they will get the old wing that is just average. Quality of food varies to change our meals according to taste. Canteen is available. Medical facility is top notch but it's far. Sports and games are also average and all.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful. Teaching quality is just fine. Curriculum will not make one ready for the industry. Semester exams are not hard if someone studies well. Pass percentage is just up 40. Quality of teaching needs to be improved also the network of college.
Other: I chose this beacuse beggars can't be choose well, jokes aside. Infrastructure is good and very budget-friendly. Best thing about my course is that I am still figuring it out. In my course increase the teaching quality and style, more content and practice oriented not just syllabus compilation. Events are full on recently we had youth fest. Campus crowd is below average. Connectivity is less. Surroundings are greenery, scholarships are available, and extracurricular activities are full on if someone is disciplined.

GJU lifestyle of students.
Placements: Very good placement here. This year Infosys company took 120 students of all CSE department out of 150 students, which is according to me very good. Placements are increasing day by day, and very good students are here also as they have 9 CGPA.
Infrastructure: Very neat and clean rooms. I like to spend time with my friends in these classrooms. We talk for hours sitting here, and we always miss this time when we all together sit here and talk to each other and make each other laugh. Sitting in canteen etc. I like it.
Faculty: Excellent professors. They teach very well and they also have friendly nature. Every semester 1 or 2 teachers become a good friend of me and my whole class, that's why I love being a student of this university and also refer others to take admission in this university.
Other: I chose this course as I want to get connected with hacking also.
