GJUST admission to BA (Hons) course is based on an entrance exam conducted by the university. The university will announce the entrance test result on the official website of the university. After the release of the result, GJUST releases a merit list announcing the names of shortlisted candidates. Further, a counselling round is conducted for document verification and final selection. The candidates will be required to present herself/ himself before the Counseling Board/ Admission Committee of respective department and mark her/ his presence and then she/ he will need to produce all original certificates for verification and checking of eligibility for the programmes for which she/ he is eligible.
The mode of application is online. Aspirants meeting the eligibility criteria need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 for General Category (INR 750 for reserved category). Guru Jambeshawar University of Science and Technology (GJUST) carried out selection procedure as per the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) Diploma Pharmacy. Students are admitted as per their scores in the last qualifying examination. The aspirants should check out GJUST BPharm eligibility criteria before applying as well. Moreover, the seat allotment is done through a counselling round.
Admission to the UG-level course is merit/JEE score based. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can visit the university website to apply. No, GJUST admission is entirely merit-based for B.Ed course. In case, a candidate has also passed the master’s degree examination after the bachelor’s degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in UG or PG degree will be taken into consideration while determining the merit. However, if two or more candidates have obtained equal marks, the following procedure will be used for the preparation of their merit.
- Candidate senior in age will be given first preference
- If tie still persists, then marks obtained in Class 12 will be considered
- If tie still persists, then marks in Class 10 will be considered to break the tie
The total tuition fee for BA (Hons) Mass Communication & BA (Hons) Research ranges between INR 30,000 & INR 1.5 lakh.
