The third round of seat allotment offers has been released for NIMCET 2024 qualified candidates. Candidates will get admission to MCA courses in participating NITs and IIIT through the NIMCET 2024 counselling process. Candidates must check further steps here after the first round of offers;
The NIT Jabalpur, Exam conducting authority of NIMCET 2024 is organising the NIMCET counselling for 2024. NIMCET 2024 registration for counselling process has been closed on 6 July 2024 NIMCET counselling process 2024 has commenced, the authority has released NIMCET 2024 round 3 counselling seat allotment offers at nimcet.admisions.ac.in on 18 July 2024. Candidates participating in NIMCET 2024 counselling are waiting for NIMCET 2024 round 3 opening and closing ranks. NIMCET special round seat allotment offers for the remaining vacant seats will be released on 24 July 2024.
The NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test, conducted by any of the NITs, for admission into their MCA program. NIMCET Candidates participating in NIMCET 2024 counselling process can get admission to NIT Agartala, MNNIT Allahabad, NIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Raipur, NIT SurathKal, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal, NIT Patna AND IIIT Bhopal based on NIMCET 2024 scorecard.

NIMCET 2024 Counselling: Seat Allotment process
View Seat Allotment Result: Candidate can log in with NIMCET Application Number and Password and see the result. If the seat is allotted then the seat allotment result will be displayed which includes the candidate’s basic details, and allotment details.
Download Provisional Seat Allotment Letter: Candidates can download the provision seat allotment letter via official NIMCET 2024 counselling portal using basic credentials. The letter will have the candidate's basic detail (personal details, rank details), allotment details, & schedule, seat acceptance fee payment details and important instructions for document verification.
Submit Willingness: Candidates must submit willingness whether the candidate wishes to participate in the upcoming NIMCET 2024 counselling rounds or will accept the present offer and will not participate in further rounds.
Upload Required Documents: Candidates must submit the requisite documents before the deadline after accepting the offer to continue with NIMCET counselling process.
Pay Seat Acceptance Fee: To continue candidates should pay the requisite seat acceptance fees through SBI MOPS.
Download Provisional Admission Letter: After the completion of document verification, the Candidate will be able to download the Download Provisional Admission Letter if the seat got confirmed.
Commonly asked questions
The authorities have commenced the NIMCET 2025 counselling process. Candidates who qualify the NIMCET exam and are interested in MCA admission at NITs will have to register for the counselling online at the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in before the last date. Candidates will have to pay INR 1000 as counselling registration fees. The complete process and schedule of counselling has been released.
Candidates can fill in as many choices in the order of preference as they wish to from the list of available choices.
Candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choices. Choices should be positively locked before last date & time failing which last saved choices will be considered for allotment. Choices submitted in the first round of counselling will be processed up to third round.
