AP LAWCET Syllabus 2026 - The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) provides the details about the syllabus for AP LAWCET in the exam notification on the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The syllabus for AP LAWCET 2026 will be provided here.

To prepare for AP LAWCET, candidates only need to cover the topics that are included in the syllabus. Knowing the AP LAWCET syllabus will also help the candidates to understand the structure of the AP LAWCET question paper. The AP LAWCET 2026 question paper has the three sections - General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law. These three sections contributes to total of 120 multiple-choice questions, of which the Aptitude for the Study of Law alone contribute 60 questions. So the candidate needs to give extra hours to that particlular section. The difficulty level of the questions asked in the AP LAWCET 2026 exam will be of Class 12 level for the five-year integrated LLB course and graduate level for the three-year LLB course. AP LAWCET question paper consists of 120 objective-type questions. These 120 questions are divided into three sections. These sections are General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Law Study. The marks distribution for each section is different. General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Law Study contain 30, and 60 marks, respectively. As a result, the Aptitude for Law Strudy section carries the most weightage in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam.

APLAWCET 2026 Syllabus for General Knowledge and Mental Ability

The General Knowledge and Mental Ability part in AP LAWCET 2026 is made to test how much you know about the world and how fast you can think. This section is same for both 3-year and 5-year LL.B courses. You need to stay aware of basic facts, logic, and simple reasoning to do well here.

This part has 30 questions for 30 marks. All are multiple-choice questions (MCQs). You just need to pick one correct answer from four options. The questions are not very hard but need clear understanding and quick thinking.

The AP LAWCET 2026 (Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test) is held for students who want to join 3-year or 5-year LL.B courses in law colleges across Andhra Pradesh. The test is managed by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu for APSCHE. Knowing the paper pattern early helps you plan better and save time while writing the exam.
