CLAT preparation in one week

CLAT 2025 will be conducted on December 1, 2024. The exam called for the last week of preparation to reduce the CLAT exam stress among candidates. CLAT 2025 last week preparation is effective for those who are already familiar with the exam pattern, syllabus, and testing methods. In the remaining time for CLAT 2025, candidates are not required to take the exam stress. But they must review their CLAT preparation strategically. In fact, while doing the revision, candidates needed to stay focused, take proper rest, and be confident in the last week of CLAT 2025. In this article, we share how one can strategise their CLAT preparation in one week.

CLAT 2025 Last Week Preparation Tips

Here are some important tips on how to prepare for CLAT in one week to help you ace the law entrance exam:

Revision

In the last week for CLAT 2025, candidates should focus on revising the important topics from each subject. They should revise the topics they have prepared consistenly over the last few months. For better results, make a preparation strategy that includes, a time-table for revision and mock test practising. To understand the sectional weightage, candidates can take a look at the CLAT exam pattern:

CLAT PG exam pattern 2025 is as under:

Section 2: Other areas of law such as Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labour & Industrial Law 60 questions  60 marks

Prep Notes 

If you made any notes during the past few months, then use it to revise each topic. For subjects like Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Quantitative Techniques, and Legal Reasoning, using preparation notes is more effective. The purpose of short notes in CLAT last week preparation is to save you from detailed syllabus, and only focus on the important topics. 

Question/ Sample Papers

For CLAT one week preparation, candidates should also practice CLAT question papers and sample papers alongside revision. Solving the CLAT papers and later analysing them helps you identify your strong and weak areas for the exam. In addition, it helps improve speed and accuracy, which is important to ace the law entrance exam. You should try to attempt at least two CLAT sample papers/question papers every day during this last week. Apart from this, CLAT mock test series to practice for the eaxm are also effective to help you gain familiarity with the real time examination. 

Work on Your Weaknesses

As you practice CLAT question paper, sample papers, or CLAT mock test 2025, try to analyse your preparation. Make a list of topics that are important but tough. Then, in the remaining time, work to improve on these topics. This will help you turn your weakness into strengths. It is important to avoid the negative marking in the examination. Remember there is negative marking for wrong attempts only. If you know a topic, then prepare it sufficiently or just leave it. 

Refrain from New Topics

It is better to prepare only important topics from CLAT syllabus  than the detailed syllabus. The reason being any new topic will raise more doubts, and in the last one week for CLAT, you should avoid it. Infact, to be confident for the exam day, stick to what you already know and keep revising and practicing.

Keep Calm & Be Confident

To perform better during the CLAT exam, it is important that trust your preparation, and be optimistic. Remember, self-doubts can result in poor performance on the exam day. In the remaining days, take good care of yourself, hydrate sufficiently, and be ready for the exam day.

GLA University, Mathura has not mentioned CLAT-UG as an accepted entrance exam for BBA LLB (hons) admission. Only GLAET has been mentioned as the acceptable entrance exam for BBA LLB (hons) course.

No, GLA University, Mathura BA LLB (hons) admission is not based on CLAT-UG scores.

Candidates can only apply for this course by appearing in GLAET and following interview round. 

There is no rule that allows candidates with valid CLAT-UG scores to skip GLAET and appear for PI round directly.

No, candidates who fulfill OP Jindal Global University BA LLB (hons) eligibility criteria cannot apply with a CLAT-UG score. This institute only accepts admission based on LNAT-UK entrance exam. No other entrance exams are accepted during admissions form this course.

Yes, CLAT is not compulsory. You can respectfully gain admission by clearing the university's own NMIMS-LAT entrance exam instead. Applications can be submitted directly through the official NMIMS website.
