CLAT 2027 Revision Strategy

Revision is Critical for CLAT Preparation: The Consortium of NLUs conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) every year to select candidates for 5 years integrated LLB degree offered by the National Law Universities (NLU). All the NLUs accept the CLAT score except NLU, Delhi. It conducts its own separate exam.

CLAT 2027 will be conducted on December 6, 2026, as a Computer-Based Test(CBT). There is not much time left as the CLAT applications are going on and will end on October 31. The candidates are suggested to start the CLAT preparation with full throttle. But most of the candidates do not include time for revision in their preparation strategy, although it is an indispensable part of the right preparation strategy.
The candidates can see below the importance of revision and the components of a revision strategy for the CLAT 2027.

Why is revision important?

Candidates should note that the CLAT exam asks candidates a mix of factual and analytical information in the form of passage-based questions. The candidates will be required to search for the desired information or identify the information given in the form of answer options. In both cases, the candidates will be required to re-collect the information studied during their preparation. Without a proper revision strategy, it would be very difficult to reproduce the required information, especially under the immense exam pressure.

There will be 120 questions and the total time allotted for the paper is two hours only. So for each question, the candidate will get 1 minute to read, understand, solve and mark the answers on the Screen. The candidates who want to get a good rank in the CLAT exam are required to have all the information at their fingertips so that they can perform better under exam pressure.

Both formats have their advantages. Institutes like CLATPrep by T.I.M.E., IMS and Coachify offer classroom and online access. This lets students combine in-person interaction with online flexibility, based on their schedule.

Batch timings vary by institute and change with each admission cycle. Aspirants should confirm current weekend or flexible-batch availability directly with the institute before enrolling.

Compare city presence, batch size, mock-test volume and teaching format before choosing. Visiting the centre and checking past student outcomes can also help build a stronger CLAT preparation plan.

Most institutes do not publish independently verified success rates. Aspirants should ask each institute directly for past selection results and NLU placement data before enrolling.

Institutes offering online and hybrid formats, such as CLATPrep by T.I.M.E., IMS and Coachify, generally suit working professionals better. These formats let students attend sessions without a fixed classroom schedule.

Yes, you can apply for admission to Techno India University for the BA LLB (Hons) course without a CLAT score. You just need to appear for the TNJEE entrance exam.
