
CLAT admit card 2026: The consortium of NLUs will release the CLAT 2026 Admit Card at least 15 days before the exam. CLAT 2026 Exam is scheduled to be held on December 7, 2025. The Consortium released all the important information related to the CLAT Exam in the CLAT Notification 2026.
The CLAT Admit Card 2026 release date will be announced by the consortium soon. Candidates can download the CLAT 2026 admit card from the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. To download the CLAT 2026 admit card, candidates will have to visit the CLAT login portal 2026. It must be noted that the CLAT 2026 Admit Card will be released in online mode only.
Candidates will not be allowed to appear in CLAT Exam without a valid CLAT 2026 hall ticket. The admit card of CLAT exam 2026 includes details like exam date, time and allotted center location. Candidates can download the CLAT 2026 admit card after cross-checking all these details carefully, and in case of any discrepancy, they can contact the CLAT 2026 Helpdesk.
CLAT 2026 admit card is useful for two events i.e. at the time of the exam, and at the time of CLAT counselling. Therefore, once downloaded, candidates must retain the admit card with them till the CLAT admission process is over or they secure a seat in a college of their choice. How to Download CLAT Admit Card 2026?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the exam
Step 2: Enter your registered mobile number and password in the space provided.
Step 3: Click on the Login button.
Step 4: Click on the Download Admit Card link given at the top right of the screen.
Step 5: Download and save the admit card PDF on your device.
Step 6: Take at least three printouts of the admit card on an A4 sheet for future reference.

Step 1: Log on to the admit card portal of the CLAT Consortium
Step 2: Enter registration/application number and date of birth.
Step 3: Click on the Download Admit Card button.
Step 4: Download, save and print the admit card PDF.

Important instructions on CLAT Hall Ticket 2026
Some of the important instructions mentioned on the CLAT 2026 Admit Card for the exam are as follows:
- Candidates can enter the CLAT 2026 Test Centre premises from 1:00 pm onwards. They should be seated at their respective seats in the CLAT Exam Hall/Classroom by 1:30 pm.
- Once students enter the hall/classroom, they will not be allowed to leave before 4:00 pm.
- Candidates will not be allowed to enter the CLAT Test Centre 2026 after 2:15 pm.
- CLAT 2026 examination began at 2:00 pm.
- Entry to exam hall is permitted only if the candidate is carrying the CLAT admit card 2026.
- If the photograph on the admit card is not clear, candidates will have to bring a self-attested copy.
- Along with the CLAT 2026 Hall Ticket, candidates will have to carry a government-issued photo ID proof such as Aadhaar.
- In case of any discrepancy in the question booklet, students should request the invigilator to replace it.
- If candidates mark more than one circle or make any other stray mark on the OMR sheet, the response is counted as a double answer and considered incorrect.

How to retrieve password, if forgotten?
If candidates forgot the password required to log in to their registered accounts. Candidates can follow these steps to recover it:
- On the CLAT Admit Card login window
- Click on the 'Forgot Password'
- This will redirect you to a new page where you need to enter your registered mobile number
- Click on the 'Request OTP'
- Enter the OTP
- Click on the 'OK' button.
- Click on the 'Reset Password'
- A new password will be generated
- After this, you can log in to your registered account using your mobile number and new password to download your CLAT hall ticket.

At times, it is observed that the information given in the CLAT admit card does not match the one provided by the candidate in the application form. Things to Carry to CLAT Exam Centre 2026
On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the CLAT centre:
- CLAT admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
- Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card.
- Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form).
- Stationary: Since the CLAT 2025 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
- Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
- Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.

Things that candidates must not carry inside the allotted test centre on the day of the exam included:
- Any study material or books
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches and tablets

No Early Departure: No candidate is allowed to leave the CLAT Examination Hall before the completion of the exam.

You don't have to worry. In case you have forgotten your ID and password, which is pretty much normal. You can go and click on the forgot password tab in the registration window. You will receive the mail and then you have to reset your password. Once day you will be able to login.

Yes, the application form for CLAT was released long back in August. Those who have not filled the form yet must understand that there is no right day to fill the form. You should fill is as soon as possible. Because if you miss it you have to wait one more year unnecessarily to appear in the exam.

The last date to submit the application form is October 31, 2025. It must be noted that the consortium will open the application correction window after that. Sometimes the consortium do extend the last date for registration but it is better to fill the form way before and why to wait.
