MH CET Law Exam Date 2026 (OUT): Check 3 & 5-year LLB Complete Exam Schedule

The Maharashtra CET examination cell conducts the MHCET Law exam for admission to the LLB programs offered at the colleges in Maharashtra. The exam is conducted at the designated centres across the state and nearby cities. Candidates who register for the exam will only be issued the admit cards and given the chance to appear for it. 

The top colleges that accept the MH CET Law scores are given below-

1. Governmet Law College, Mumbai
2. Indian Law School, Pune
3. Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai
4. Dr DY Patil Law College, Navi Mumbai
5. Rizvi Law College, Mumbai
6. Shri Naval Firodia Law College, Pune

The ideal cut off to secure a seat and get the admission in one of these top colleges ranges between 96 to 99. Candidates must target to acheive this score in order to easily land into their preferred Law College.

The MH CET Law application form 2026 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB will be available tentatively in December 2025. The application forms for both types of law courses will be released online on the official website of CET Cell Maharashtra. 

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will provide the application correction facilityn for the candidates who have already registered for MHCET Law 2026 but submitted a form with ceratin mistakes and erros. Candidates will be given an opportunity to correct or edit the below mentioned details in their already submitted application form:

• Candidate's Name
• Date of Birth
• Photograph
• Signature
• Gender

Along with this, MH CET Cell is also allowing candidates to complete the application form and pay the MH CET Law Registration Fee within this time who were unable to do it earlier.

The reporting time for the MHCET Law exam will be different for both the shifts. It is not yet out, however, the candidates will be required to reach the examination hall as per the time mentioned on the admit card. The hall ticket will be issued to the registered candidates online. Use the login credentials creating during the registration to access the admit card.

The MH CET Law 2026 answer key for the 3-year LLB course will be released within a few days of the exam. Candidates can raise objections to answer key during the answer key objection window. The fee per objection is INR 1,000.

The MH CET Law dates are subject to change. Thus, candidates always need to check MH CET Law dates to track changes in the exam date, and dates related to MH CET Law registrations, release of admit card, result, release of seat allotment lists and counselling.

The MH CET CAP registration for both 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB will begin online on the CET cell website. The E-scrutiny of documents will be done for the registered applications. To fill out the CAP registration form, candidates will have to first visit the CET Cell Maharashtra official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, and then access the CAP portal of their respective programme. This process includes steps such as CAP registration, option entries for selection, release of alphabetical list, final merit list and seat allotment.
