MHCET Law Exam Pattern 2026

Q:   Which types of questions are asked in the MH CET Law question paper?
A:

MH CET Law question papers consist of MCQs. Candidates are required to answer these questions in a computer-based test mode (online). You can skip questions if you do not know their answers. However, candidates should answer all questions because there is no negative marking scheme in the MH CET Law exam. The option of marking for review is also available for questions in the MH CET Law question paper. Candidates can answer these questions later before clicking on the submit or end exam button. 

 

Q:   How many questions are there in MH CET Law 2026?
A:

Candidates appearing for the five-year LLB course of MH CET Law will have to attempt five sections including, Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, English, Mathematics, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Those appearing for the three-year LLB course have to attempt the same four sections except for Mathematics. MHCET Law Syllabus 2026 will be of Class 12/ SSC level for five-year LLB courses paper and, of graduate-level for LLB course paper. 

Q:   Which is the most important section in the MH CET Law question paper?
A:

General Knowledge and Current Affairs section is the most important section in the MH CET Law question paper. These sections test candidates' awareness of current events and a variety of academic subjects. The weightage of this section is 40.

Key Points to Remember about MHCET Law 2026 Exam Pattern:

  • The MHCET Law question paper 2026 for the 3-year LLB programme will not include questions from mathematics. Mathematics-related questions will only be asked in the MHCET Law 5-year question paper.
  • Candidates should know that neither the 3-year LLB nor the 5-year LLB undergraduate law courses offered by MHCET Law 2026 will have a negative marking option.
  • The exam takers will receive one mark for every question that they answer correctly.
  • The multiple-choice questions (MCQs) format will be used for the entire test paper for the MHCET LAW 2026.
  • Candidates will have two hours to answer all the questions in the MHCET Law question paper 2026 for both of the UG programmes.
