IIM Indore Summer Placement 2020-22: Average Stipend Increases by 7%
IIM Indore Summer Placement process for the batch of 2022 has been completed with the participation of over 190 companies. The average stipend has also seen an increase. Read the detailed report here.
IIM Indore Summer Placement 2022 Report
IIM Indore has completed the Summer Placement process for the PGP batch of 2022 with 100 per cent recruitment. Over 190 companies participated in the process out of which 70 were first-time recruiters. The average stipend offered was Rs 1.8 lakh for two months, which is seven per cent higher than that of last year. Last year’s average salary was Rs 1.68 lakh. On the other hand, the highest stipend has seen a drop by 20 per cent, from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 3.2 lakh. The strength of this batch is 575, which is the highest across IIMs.

Sales & Marketing
The Sales & Marketing sector saw 25 per cent of the total offers from companies like Asian Paints, Dabur, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, L'Oreal, Marico, Piramal and Puma.
Consulting
The Consulting domain extended 24 per cent offers. The top recruiters were Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Co, Deloitte India, Deloitte USI, Everest Group, GEP Consulting, McKinsey & Co, PricewaterhouseCoopers SDC and Optum, among others.
Finance
There was 41 per cent offers made from the Finance sector. The notable companies which extended offers were Barclays, Credit Suisse, D E Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC Bank, JP Morgan Chase & Co, StateStreet etc.
IT & E-Commerce
The IT & E-Commerce companies that participated in the IIM Indore Summer Placement process were American Express, Baker Hughes, Capgemini, Google, General Electric, Microsoft, Walmart Labs, to name a few.
Other top recruiters which recruited for conglomerates and leadership roles were ACT Fibernet, Amazon, Cipla, JSW Group, Mahindra & Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, and Tata Steel.

No, IIM Indore IPM admission is not possible without appearing for IPMAT. It is an aptitude test conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Indore. Score obtained in aptitude test is given a weightage of 65% in Composite Score which serves as basis of final selection.
