TIET MBA Admission 2021: Dates, Eligibility, Application Process, Fees
Thapar Insitute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) offers an MBA and Executive MBA in a number of specialisations. TIET is currently accepting applications for these courses. Admission to both courses is based on a valid score in the entrance exam, followed by a Group Interaction (GI) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates can also get scholarships based on their entrance exam scores.

TIET offers MBA and MBA (Executive) programmes under the stream of Management. Admission to both programmes is entrance-based. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of TIET. A few important highlights regarding these courses are mentioned below:

TIET MBA Admission 2021
Under LM Thapar School of Management, the Deemed-to-be University offers a full-time MBA programme. Admission to the programme is based on a valid score in CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ Thapar Entrance Test, followed by a GI and PI.
The total fee for MBA (Business Analytics & Big Data) is Rs 9.41 lakh and the total fee for rest of the specialisations is Rs 8.28 lakh each. The programme is offered in 10 specialisations, which are mentioned below:

TIET MBA (Executive) Admission 2021
Apart from the general MBA, TIET also offers an Executive MBA in four specialisations. Admission to the programme is based on a valid CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ Thapar Entrance Test score, followed by a PI. The total fee for each of the specialisations is Rs 4.80 lakh. TIET MBA Application Process 2021
TIET application process is conducted through an online mode. Candidates have to register through the official website of the Deemed-to-be University to apply for any of the programmes. Follow the below-mentioned steps for the complete TIET application process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of TIET, www.thapar.edu.
Step 2: Click on “Admission 2021” and register yourself.
Step 3: Fill the application form by entering required academic and personal details.
Step 4: Upload a scanned photo of the qualifying exam marksheet and a passport-size photograph.
Step 5: Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit card or net banking.
Documents required at the time of admission:
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet
- UG marksheet (if applicable)
- PG marksheet (if applicable)
- Date of birth certificate
- Passport-size photograph
- Transfer certificate
- Character certificate

With 80 percentile (JEE) + 90% boards:
- CSE/COE → unlikely
- ECE/ENC → difficult but maybe in later rounds
- Mechanical / Electrical → possible
