Review of Centre for Management Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia.
Placements: We have a student placement cell entirely directed by the students for the students along with the full support of the placement advisory of our department, and we aim for inviting the best organisations for campus recruitment and internships rigorously. The average salary package expected is in the range of 5 LPA to 9 LPA + variables with various positions in the managerial post. Some previous recruiters were Swiggy, ITC Limited, Honda, Rivigo, Sharekhan, Byju's, Urbanclap, Decathalon, Vodafone, HCL, EY, Zomato, FedEx, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a moderate to advance infrastructure with Wi-Fi facility and well-equipped classrooms, lab and library which is air-conditioned and has good ambience. Our campus has many nice canteens with affordable and good quality food. Overall, it is a very happening campus. Our campus also has a huge sports complex with good trainers and gym facility for the sports quota students. Special attention is given to sports quota students and international students.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly experienced and knowledgeable with friendly behaviour, and they possess a great position in our hearts and minds. The teaching quality is excellent, and the teaching methodologies are powerpoint presentations and chalk and board method along with some great and helpful case studies. We get great industry exposure via alumni meet, interactive sessions, and seminars.
Other: We, at centre for management studies, organise annual techno-cultural fest named Aalen. We have Mi Bytes magazine, entrepreneurship and innovation cell, and a student placement cell.

The college needs to improve its placements and hostel facilities, and update the course curriculum.
Placements: Placements were very low for our batch and our senior batch. The highest salary package offered for our batch was 3.7 LPA. Only Axis Bank recruited 10-12 candidates from our batch. Everyone else got placed on their own, and fortunately, most of us are now placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. You can see a lot of greenery on the campus. Food available in the canteen was quite good. The hostel facility in the college needs some improvement. Steps should be taken by the college to indulge students in sports activities and other extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and experienced. Most importantly, visiting faculty members were very good. Their way of teaching was interesting and indulging. We did not get any industry exposure, and the most important thing is to update the course curriculum as per the industry requirements.

    Hi, There is no such course for MBA in distance mode, but there is MBA executive course where you have to attend a few classes in a month, so you can try for it, if you like to do it. Thank you.

    How tough is Jamia Millia Islamia entrance question paper if compared to CAT? Can Hindu students from different state also get into Jamia?

    Hello Suchismita, It is a pretty decent paper neither too hard nor too easy. When compared to CAT, it is comparatively easy but when compared to other entrances like MAT, etc., it is comparatively tough. So, it lies in between.
