This is possible only if they have a good practice to solving questions quickly. For MAH MBA CET too, candidates need to practice a good number of mock tests as the question paper carries 200 questions to be solve in 150 minutes. Know the importance of practicing MAH MBA CET mock tests:

  • The questions range from 500 word RC paragraphs to dense charts or tables and calculation intensive mathematical problems. To tackle such a variety of questions in limited time is not possible without practice.
  • MAH MBA CET mock test is a replica of the actual MAH MBA CET question paper. By practicing the mock tests, candidates can gain the experience of actual exam thus instilling confidence in them to crack a speed-based test.
  • The mock tests carries questions, which are typically asked in the main exam. By practicing a wide variety of MBA CET mock tests, candidates would know the MAH CET exam pattern, types of questions that are asked in the exam, the difficulty level of questions and subject wise weightage.
  • Once candidates know the important chapters, they can focus on those more than the other chapters.
  • By practicing MAH CET mock tests, candidates also get to know which topics are their strengths and weaknesses. This can help them in not only re thinking their preparation strategy but also help them in drawing the exam day plan (which questions to solve and which ones to skip).
  • It is a given that one can’t solve all 200 questions in 150 minutes. Candidates have to choose the questions they can solve accurately within the time limit. By practicing MAH MBA CET free mock tests, candidates can develop the skill of identifying the types of questions they can answer correctly.
  • When candidates practice a good number of MBA CET mock tests, they develop the skills of quick calculations and short cuts of solving lengthy mathematical problems.

However, it becomes tough to achieve high marks and rank among the top 30 pupils. The MAH CET Exam is at the state level, whereas the CAT Exam is at the national level. The fact that more candidates take the CAT test than the MAH CET exam raises the difficulty level of the exam and makes admission through CAT more challenging, although the number of colleges accepting CAT results is large. So, if not the top IIMs, a kid will be able to get into any of the mediocre institutions. There are numerous universities that accept CET test results as well, however that is the final exam. Because if an applicant does not perform well on the CET test, he will have to wait a whole year. Both admission tests are computer-based.

DTE begins CAP rounds for admission after the CET results, which are usually released in May. You can look at the 2021 schedule to get a rough idea of how it will be in 2022. State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra.
There were 4 rounds last year. After completing every round, a list of remaining vacant seats in an institute or college is prepared, which helps students decide. With the preferences given by the students, they have 3 options.
During the CAP, after allotment and before accepting the allotted seat in Round 1 and Round 2, a candidate can select the choice of "freezing," "sliding," or "floating" for the subsequent round, if any, of seat allocation, as provided below.
(a) Freeze: Students accept the offered seat and do not want to participate in any further rounds of seat allocation. Such students will not be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.
(b) Slide: Students accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to the academic program of higher preference is offered within the same institution, they will accept it. Such students will be considered in the following rounds of admission.
(c) Float: Students accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to an academic program of higher preference in any institution is offered, they will accept it. If they do not accept, they will continue with the currently accepted academic program. Such students will be considered in the following rounds of admission.
The students should select the reporting option as "freeze," "slide," or "float" through their login. If the candidate gets a better choice in CAP Round 2 and Round 3, they may change the reporting option to "freeze," "slide," or "float" through their login; otherwise, the earlier option will be carried forward. For candidates who choose the float or slide option and secure a seat of their choice with a higher preference, it would automatically result in the forfeiture of the seat accepted by the students in the earlier round. Slide and float options will not be available to a Student who is offered admission to his first choice.
So, you just have to focus on the written test and try to get a good score in the MH CET exam. Wait for the official notification of CAP rounds after the CET result.

Cutoffs for Non-CAP seats are decided by the college and a college-specific application form is required to get into the admission process. After that, a merit list is published and seats are allotted on the basis of merit. Your acknowledgment form after admission explicitly mentions the type of admission and thus you might miss out on some scholarships/schemes by the government as many of them are only for candidates who have undergone the CAP. I hope this will help you.
