IIIT Delhi to host 12th Convocation Ceremony on Oct 27

The ceremony will confer the graduates from diverse disciplines, including B.Tech. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Design, Computer Science and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Biosciences, and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

IIIT Delhi 12th Convocation: The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is all set to hold its 12th convocation ceremony on October 27, 2023. According to the official statement, the event will witness the conferment of degrees upon 715 outstanding students who have successfully completed their undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs.

The ceremony will confer the graduates from diverse disciplines, including B.Tech. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Design, Computer Science and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Biosciences, and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Additionally, MTech graduates in Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Computational Biology, along with PhD recipients in Computational Biology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Human-Centered Design, Mathematics, and Social Sciences and Humanities, will be recognized for their academic achievements.

The inaugural class of the BTech CSAI program is set to graduate this year. With this graduating cohort, the institute's tally of PhD recipients will reach 126, contributing to a growing alumni network that will soon surpass 4000 members.

Sunil Kumar Munjal, Chairman of Hero Enterprise, will grace the occasion as the chief guest and deliver the convocation address. The ceremony will also be attended by esteemed guests, including Chancellor, LG, Vinai Kumar Saxena, Professor Ranjan Bose, Director IIIT-Delhi, and Kiran Karnik, Chairman Board of Governors, who will preside over the ceremony, along with dedicated faculty members.

During the event, IIIT-Delhi will acknowledge the outstanding academic achievements of its students through various awards and medals. Recipients will be honoured with prestigious accolades such as the Chancellor's Gold Medal, Institute Silver Medals, All Round Performance Medals, Best BTP Awards, Gold Medal for Excellent Academic Performance in MTech., and Best MTech Thesis Award, and PhD Dissertation Awardees.
