List of documents required for cuet 2026 application TheCommon University Entrance Test (CUET) registrations 2026 will commence in first week of March at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates applying for the exam must keep the required documents for CUET UG 2026 ready to fill the online form. The last date for CUET UG application form 2026 will be notified. It must be noted that the CUET exam has now been made mandatory to get admission to undergraduate courses in all the central universities, as well as other participating universities. Candidates preparing for CUET must fill the CUET application form 2026.
CUET UG exam is conducted for admission to more than 240 participating universities, including Central, State, deemed, Private, and Government Universities. Top Central Universities such as the University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Jawaharlal Nehru University are among others that will accept CUET 2026 for admission into their undergraduate programme for the academic year 2026-27. The Common Universities Entrance Test will be a computer-based test that will be held in 13 languages.

CUET 2026: Required Documents for CUET Application Form 2026
All those candidates who were looking forward to applying for CUET 2026 must upload the scanned copies of the following documents required for CUET registration:
- Class 10/12 mark sheets
- Passport-size photograph
- Signature
- ID proof with photo (Aadhar card, driving license, etc.)
- Caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate if required
The numbers for choosing CUET subjects is five out of the 37 options available.
Section 1A- (13 languages) Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu.
Section 2- (23 domain- specific subjects) Accountancy/ Book Keeping, Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics/ Business Economics, Geography/Geology, History, Home Science, Knowledge Tradition and Practices of India, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physical Education/ NCC /Yoga, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Agriculture, Mass Media/ Mass Communication, Anthropology, Fine Arts/ Visual Arts (Sculpture/ Painting)/Commercial Arts, Performing Arts – (i) Dance (Kathak/ Bharatnatyam/ Oddisi/ Kathakali/Kuchipudi/ Manipuri (ii) Drama- Theatre (iii) Music General (Hindustani/ Carnatic/ Rabindra Sangeet/ Percussion/ Non-Percussion), Sanskrit [For all Shastri (Shastri 3 years/ 4 years Honours), and Tourism
Section 3- General test
National Testing Agency will commence CUET 2026 registration in first week of March. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration will be notiifed aling with the last date for payment of fee.
Candidats will be required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process will be in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.
CUET Registration 2026: How to apply
Students who will be filling the CUET application form 2026 can complete the registration process by following the instructions given below:
- Click on the official CUET link provided: cuet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the CUET registration 2026 link
- Register by typing in credentials such as name, phone number and email ID
- Log in using the new registration ID and password that is sent to the registered mobile or email
- Pay the application fee
- Click on the submit button.

CUET Exam: How To Get Admit Card
The NTA will upload the CUET exam 2026 admit card on its official website ahead of the examination. Once released, candidates are advised to check the admit card carefully for all particulars such as roll number, name, subject group, date of birth, gender, examination centre name, city, medium opted, category, etc. It must be noted that the admit card will not be released in physical mode.
CUET DU registration fee varies on the basis of category. The CUET registrations for Delhi University of Delhi have commenced. Candidates can now register online at CUET DU CSAS portal 2025. Refer the table below to know the CUET DU form fee:

No, candidates must use their unique email ID to register for CUET 2026. It is advised to use the unique email ID as all the communications are made through email ID or SMS only. Also, once registered, candidates will not be able to change or modify the contact details in the CUET 2026 application form.
Additionally, using someone else's email ID may be considered a form of identity fraud and may lead to the candidate's application being rejected or candidate's account being suspended. It is best to use own email ID to ensure that applicant receive all communication related to their CUET application and that their identity is verified accurately.

What is CUET Eligibility?
As per to CUET 2026 eligibility criteria for undergraduates, there is no age limit set for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination or are appearing in 2026, irrespective of their age, can appear in CUET UG 2026 examination. Once the examination is completed and scores are released, documents required for CUET counselling will be released by the Universities separately.
