The Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) has released the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EDCET) 2025 notification on its official website on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The application process for the state-level entrance test has begun, and aspiring candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can fill in the application form by May 14, 2025, without a late fee. The APEdCET exam is conducted for candidates looking to pursue a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) courses in Andhra Pradesh for the academic session 2025-27.

Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BCA/BBA) from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) can apply.
Steps to fill the APEdCET application form 2025 -
Step 1 - Visit official website of AP EDCET – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in
Step 2 - Click on “AP EDCET 2025” section
Step 3 - Register using basic details and generate login credentials (save it for the future)
Step 4 - Fill out the application form in detail
Step 5 - Upload the required documents and pay application fee in online mode
Step 6 - Submit and download a copy of the application form for future reference
The APEdCET exam will be conducted in computer-based online mode and there will be 150 questions in total. The time duration will be 2 hours and the questions will be based on subjects such as General English, General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude, and Methodology.
To register for the APEdCET counselling process candidates will have to register on the official counseling website by providing their details and paying the counseling fee. After registration, document verification will be scheduled. Once all the process of the APEdCET counselling process is completed, candidates will be alloted the college as per their choice-filling to pursue their BEd course.
The APEdCET application form 2025 is expected to be released in April 2025. Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility crtieria will be able to fill in the application till the last date which will tentatively be May 2025. The exam body will release the application form along with the notification. The APEdCET exam will tentatively held in June 2025.
