The RIE CEE exam is an annual entrance exam that is conducted by the NCERT to shortlist candidates who want to pursue the B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., M.Sc. Ed., B.Ed., M.Ed., or B.Ed.-M.Ed. (Integrated) Programs at Regional Institutes of Education (Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru, and Shillong).
No, there is no such provision to change the exam centre. The NCERT tries to allot the nearest centre based on candidate's choice as they filled in the application. The RIE CEE exam centre once selected and submitted in the application form cannot be changed later. Hence, it is crucial for candidates to carefully choose their preferred city while filling the RIE CEE application form. Candidates are advised to double-check their preferences before final submission. In case of unavoidable circumstances, candidates may contact the helpdesk, but changes are rarely approved. The detailed address of the exam centre will be mentioned in candidate's RIE CEE hall ticket.
The application fee for RIE CEE 2025 varies based on the candidate's category. For General and OBC candidates, the fee is generally higher (e.g. INR 900– INR 1,000), while SC/ST/PwD candidates pay a reduced fee (e.g. INR 450– INR 500). The exact amount will be mentioned in the official notification. Fees can usually be paid online via credit card, debit card, or net banking.
