The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the third notification for 2019 under advertisement number – 03/19. Through DSSSB recruitment notification 2019, total 982 vacancies will be filled for the following three posts – Primary Teachers (637 vacancies), Nursery Teachers (141) and Civil Junior Engineers (204 vacancies). DSSSB eligibility criteria varies as per different posts. Given below is the detailed post-wise DSSSB eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit and professional experience.

DSSSB eligibility for primary teachers (PRT)

Educational Qualification
1. Class 12th with minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks and two-year diploma in elementary education (D.Ed) OR Class 12th with minimum 45 per cent aggregate marks and two-year diploma in elementary education (D.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (recognition norms and procedure) regulations-2002 OR Class 12th with minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks and four-year duration Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed) OR Class 12th with minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks and two-year diploma in special education OR Graduation and two-year diploma in elementary education (D.Ed) 2. Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 3. Pass in Hindi/ Urdu/ Punjabi/ English as a subject at class 10th levels

DSSSB eligibility for nursery teachers

DSSSB eligibility for civil junior engineers (JE)

Candidates having a three-year diploma in civil engineering must have at least two years of experience in planning, execution and maintenance of civil engineering work

DSSSB eligibility: Reservations

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board offers reservation benefits to candidates belonging to categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Physically Handicapped (PH). The reservation benefit is offered in terms of relaxation in either minimum qualifying marks or age criteria. Given below is post-wise relaxations given to reserved category candidates:

A relaxation up to five per cent in the qualifying marks is given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates applying for the post of primary teacher
Age relaxation is given to all candidates for all posts as per the below-mentioned details:

Departmental candidate with at least three years continuous service in Govt. of NCT of Delhi	Upto 05 years for Group ‘B’ posts (which are in the same line or allied cadres and where a relationship could be established that the service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of post.)
	Upto 40 years of age (45 years for SC/ST, 43 years for OBC-Delhi) for Group ‘C’ post (which are in the same line or allied cadres).
Guest/ Contract Teachers (only for those who have not availed the age relaxation in previous recruitments)	The contractual employees working against teaching posts are eligible for one time relaxation in upper age limit up to maximum period of five years. The quantum of age relaxation is subject to number of years spent in the department on contract basis provided, they have worked for at least 120 days in a particular academic year
Ex-Servicemen Group C & B (Non-Gazetted)	Period of military service plus 3 years
Kashmiri Migrant	Relaxation of five years in the upper age limit is given to all candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) from January 1, 1950 to December 31, 1989
