July 2 - RRB NTPC 2020 exam conducting agency is expected to be finalised this month. Once the exam conducting is finalised, RRBs will announce the exam dates.
June 30 - An official notice released by the Indian Railways reads, "The examination preparation process of RRB NTPC was at an advance stage when COVID-19 pandemic hit the country and a nation-wide lockdown was announced. Indian Railways is formulating a viable strategy to conduct a massive examination of 1.25 crore applicants and scheduling of all the processes, etc while observing all norms in COVID-19 scenario."
June 29 - RRB NTPC 2020 admit card will be released four days before the scheduled exam date.
June 26 - RRB NTPC 2020 exam will be conducted in 15 languages. The exam will be held in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
June 25 - RRB NTPC 2020 exam dates will be announced in July or August because the pre-bid conference will be held on July 3.
June 24 – Once the exam dates are announced, registered candidates will be issued RRB NTPC admit card 2020 will be released online by the RRBs. Candidates can download the admit card by logging with the required details.
June 23-The Railway Recruitment Boards will conduct the pre-conference bid for ECA on July 3, 2020. The ECA is responsible for conducting the entire recruitment process.
June 23- A large number of candidates had applied for RRB NTPC recruitment. Indian Railways had received 1.26 crore application forms. As the number of applicants is large, the competition is going to be high.
June 19 – Indian Railways had published an official notice regarding RRB NTPC 2020 exam. In the statement, it was mentioned that the Railways will speed up the recruitment process once the lockdown is lifted.
June 19 - The authorities had published certain guidelines that will be followed on the exam day to control the spread of COVID-19. As per the guidelines, candidates will have to wear masks, sanitization of RRB NTPC exam centres will be done after each shift, social distancing norms will be followed.

RRB NTPC 2020 Selection Process
The recruitment process includes CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable), and Document Verification/Medical Examination. On the basis of merit, candidates will be selected for an appointment. The stages of recruitment for various stages are given below.
Station Master and Traffic Assistant – First stage CBT, second stage CBT and Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT). There will be document verification and medical examination.
Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper - First stage CBT, Second stage CBT and Typing Skill Test is conducted. After clearing these stages, candidates will have to appear for document verification and medical exam.
Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice – There will be two-stage CBT followed by document verification and medical exam.
