SSC GD Post Preference 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will invite online applications for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2026 exam in October 2025. The SSC GD Constable 2026 online form will be available for over a month. While filling out the SSC GD Constable exam form, candidates need to give their preferences for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
Candidates must fill out a total of seven SSC GD post preference 2026 of forces, in order of priority, in the application form. Candidates should be very careful while giving the preferences of the forces.
The last date to give the post preference in the SSC GD application form will be November 2025.
Candidates can check their exam centres by downloading the SSC GD admit card only. The Commission do not mention the name of examination centre in the application status. Candidates can check their exam city, date, and time for the SSC GD Constable exam on their admit cards. Candidates will be required to download the admit card from their regional websites. Where to Fill SSC GD Constable Post Preference 2026?
Candidates need to fill out the SSC GD 2026 post preference on the first page of the online application form under the column ‘Preference of posts for CAPFs / Organizations’. Have a look:
The Commission will conduct the Constable GD in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF and Rifleman GD in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2026 in January - February 2026. The SSC GD Constable 2025 exam will be conducted online in the computer-based exam (CBE) mode. The Staff Selection Commission organises the exam in various exam centres across India. The SSC GD Constable 2025 exam was held on February 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 25, 2025.
The SSC GD Constable DV/ DME 2025 dates have not been announced yet. However, it is expected that the SSC GD medical exam will start in November 2025. The CRPF will soon announce the dates for the Constable DME exam after the declaration of PET/ PST result.
Candidates need to carry these documents to the SSC GD exam centres-
- Constable GD admit card.
- Passport size photos.
- Photo ID proof such as Pan card, Voter ID, Driving License, ID Cards issued by the Government.
