SSC GD 2023 Analysis: The commission conducted the SSC GD Constable Exam 2022-23 in multiple shifts across the country from January 10 to February 14, 2023. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Constable (General Duty) exam as Computer-Based Exam (CBE) in online mode. Here, we are providing SSC GD 2022-23 Exam Analysis on a daily basis, section-wise, in a detailed manner.
Now, candidates are waiting for the SSC GD Constable Result 2022-23 which is expected to be released in March or in the first week of April 2023. Direct link will be updated once it is released.
Before moving towards the analysis of SSC GD 2022-23 CBE, we should first see the structure of the paper given by the SSC. This structure was also available in the mock test issued by the Commission. The pattern of the SSC GD 2022-23 is as follows.

SSC GD Constable 2023 Exam Pattern (New)
SSC GD exam pattern has been revised for the Computer-Based Exam (CBE). The Commission reduced the number of questions, the time allotted to the paper and changed the marks assigned to each question. The SSC GD exam pattern 2022-23 for CBE is summarised below:

There are four sections, each of 40 marks. Candidates need to complete the paper in one hour. The candidates cannot exceed the timeline because the computer freezes after the time limit. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.

In math, basic questions about profit and loss, mensuration, etc. were asked. According to him, the math paper was easy to moderate. In general awareness, questions about the 2018 year, the black horse, etc. were indirectly asked. In Hindi, the questions asked were different. Overall, the SSC GD Constable 2022-2023 exam was moderate to difficult.

According to her, the math paper was simple. LCM, HCF, profit and loss, and other math questions are asked. In general awareness, questions were about dance forms, games, jute, etc. Topics for reasoning included blood relations, etc. In English, questions from antonyms, synonyms, passages, etc. were there. Overall, the difficulty level of the SSC GD Constable exam 2022–2023 was easy.

Maths paper was easy. Questions were from LCM, HCF, percentage, formula and calculative, etc. In General awareness, current affair question on INS Vikrant was there, question on population, Uttarakhand brand ambassador, etc. In Reasoning questions were easy.
Aryavir
In math, questions about profit, loss, percentage, etc. were asked. Maths paper was easy. Current affairs questions were more numerous. In reasoning, an alphabet series (around 5 questions), blood relations, etc. were asked. Overall, the paper's difficulty level was easy to moderate.
Sunny
In General Knowledge, questions are asked from Uttarakhand, current affairs, etc. Questions in math included LCM, HCF, the perimeter of an equilateral triangle, profit and loss, and so on. According to him, the math paper was moderate. In English, synonyms, antonyms, passage, narration, sentence improvement, etc. The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate.
Karan
In Hindi, the questions asked were from paryaewachi, similar to mock tests. In math, percentage, compound interest, simple interest, proportional, root, etc. were asked. Animal-related questions, current affairs questions, Uttarakhand questions, and so on were asked in GK. According to him, reasoning was very easy. The overall difficulty level of the SSC GD Constable exam is easy to moderate.

SSC GD 2021 Exam Analysis
Shiksha.com asked the candidates who appeared in the SSC GD 2021 CBE conducted in the first shift at the exam centre in the Greater Noida area. The candidates shared their views regarding the paper. There are various sets of papers asking different questions in the CBE. This is the reason that the candidates appearing in the same shift get a different set of question papers. The following are the candidates who shared their views with Shiksha.com.
Simant Bhati
Simant Bhati talked about the SSC GD 2021 CBE in length. He told that in the current events section, most of the questions were from 2020 current affairs. He specifically said that there were 6 to 7 questions (out of 25) from the current events of 2020. There was a question on the Constitutional Amendment. Under the General Knowledge section, there was one question each from Ancient History, Medieval History, Modern History. He told that the reasoning was not very difficult and most of the questions were doable. In the Maths section, there were questions from Compound Interest, Simple Interest Ratio and Mensuration. There was a question from 2D and 3D. He opted for the Hindi section in the paper. He said that the Hindi section was easy. It comprises an easy passage having 5 questions. As per Simant, the paper was good and was of moderate difficulty level.
Vaibhav Joshi
Vaibhav Joshi told Shiksha.com that there were good questions from History such as questions asking about Babur, Akbar, Todarmal. There was a question asking about the sports discipline of Deepika Kumari. There was a question about chemistry related to the ions. Under the mathematics sections, there were questions from average, percentage, ratio, interest, profit and loss. In the Reasoning section, the questions were easy and doable. In the Hindi section, the questions asked were related to antonyms, synonyms, one-word substitution and the likes. He said that the paper was of moderate difficulty level.
Mukesh Kumar
Mukesh Kumar told us that there was a question about the famous personalities who died recently and the social schemes run by the Government of India. Under the General Knowledge section, there were two questions from history. Also, there was a question from physics asking about the SI units. In Maths, most of the questions were from Simple and Compound Interests. In the reasoning section, most of the questions were from logical reasoning (Verbal).

As per the majority of candidates, the SSC GD 2021 CBE was as per the previous years’ standards. The candidates need to understand that the SSC GD cut off will increase this year because the number of vacancies is half in comparison to the previous year.
