SSC GD Previous Years' Question Papers: The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC GD Constable exam in January - February 2026. Candidates who are looking forward to appearing in the SSC GD 2026 exam should start their preparation. One should solve the SSC GD previous years' papers to gain command over the subject. SSC GD Question Paper Pattern 2026

The SSC GD Constable is a computer-based exam (CBE) with 80 questions of 2 marks each. The paper has four sections: General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and English/Hindi. The detailed SSC GD exam pattern and structure are given in the table below.

Q:   Which is most repetitive question in SSC GD?
A: 

There are no such repetitive questions in the SSC GD Constable exam. However, the topics and types are generally the same almost every year. The Commission makes changes in the difficulty level of the same topics asked in the exam. Moreover, the Commission may give more weight to one topic this year and another topic next year. For example, there may be more questions on the number system in 2025, and in 2026, the Mathematics section may include more questions on Algebra. So, Candidates need to prepare all the topics and sections carefully.

Q:   Is there any negative marking in the SSC GD exam?
A: 

There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in the SSC GD Constable exam. It is an objective type exam conducted online. The marks for the correct answer are 2. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.

Q:   Which section of the SSC GD question paper is lengthiest?

In the SSC GD Constable exam, the questions are asked from four sections- General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English/Hindi and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Each section contains 20 questions. There is equal distribution of questions in each section of SSC GD question paper. However, it depends upon each candidate which section of the SSC GD exam paper they find lengthy based on the difficulty level of the questions.

SSC GD exam is not a tough exam. The difficulty level of SSC GD Constable exam is generally easy to moderate or moderate. However, the competition for the exam is high, which makes it is a bit tough to crack.

Candidates are advised to check the details carefully in SSC GD admit card. In case there are errors in the same, they should report to the examination authority. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent by post.

The tie-breaking policy of SSC GD is done when two candidates secure the same marks or positions in the exam. This done based on date of birth, marks in each section, alphabet-wise names gets higher rank.

SSC GD Constable merit list is released in PDF form by SSC. It shows the roll numbers of qualified candidates for the next round of selection process. The list is released along with the cut off marks so that candidates can check they have qualified for the physical test or final recruitment.

SSC GD marks are made available few days after the declaration of the result. The scorecard is released for qualified and non-qualified candidates. The marks can be downloaded by logging with the required credentials.

The SSC GD Constable DV/ DME 2025 dates have not been announced yet. However, it is expected that the SSC GD medical exam will start in November 2025. The CRPF will soon announce the dates for the Constable DME exam after the declaration of PET/ PST result.
