SSC admit card is the official authority letter required to appear in the exam. SSC exam admit cards are released by the regional SSC websites. These websites release the application status of the candidates, mentioning the exam date or the rejection of the application. SSC also mentions the reason for rejection if the application is rejected. SSC Tier 1 admit cards are distributed to candidates four days before the exam date. The candidate can download their admit card four days before their exam date. This is done to reduce the load on the server of regional websites.

The candidates are required to carry one government-issued identity proof with their admit card. The list of such government identity proofs is provided in each exam notification. In most of the SSC exams, the candidates are required to carry one proof of their date of birth. Candidates can download their SSC admit card (also known as hall ticket) for their respective exam by using details such as their registration number, roll number, date of birth, and password.
