Q:   How many questions are asked in SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam?
A: 

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam has 100 questions. The questions are asked from English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Each section contains 25 questions of 2 marks each.

Q:   How many questions are there in each section of the SSC MTS exam?
A: 

The Staff Selection Commission changed the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam pattern and introduced partial negative markings in the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam. The Commission also changed the number of questions asked in the exam. The Commission divided the paper into two parts and fixed a separate timeline for each session. For example, there may be more questions on the number system in 2025, and in 2026, the Mathematics section may include more questions on Algebra. Q:   What type of questions are asked in SSC CHSL exam?

SSC CHSL Tier 1 contains objective-type multiple choice questions (MCQs). On the other hand, SSC CHSL Tier 2 is objective type as well, except for Module-II of Section-3, which is a Typing or Skill Test. The questions are set in English, Hindi and language opted by candidates, except for Module-II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section II of Tier 2 examination.

The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) revised the Andhra Pradesh SSC Date sheet 2026. As per the revised schedule, English exam is rescheduled to March 21, 2026. Earlier, it was scheduled on March 20, 2026.
