SSC Question Paper: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases the question papers separately for SSC CGL, GD, CHSL, MTS, JE, and others. The question papers are made available along with the SSC exam answer key. The link to download the question papers of the SSC exam 2025 is activated on the official website. Q:   What is the structure and pattern of the SSC CGL question paper?

The SSC CGL exam consists of multiple tiers, each with a distinct question paper pattern. For Tier 1, the question paper has four sections:

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 questions, 50 marks

  • General Awareness: 25 questions, 50 marks

  • Quantitative Aptitude: 25 questions, 50 marks

  • English Comprehension: 25 questions, 50 marks

Total questions are 100, and the maximum marks are 200. The duration of the Tier 1 exam is 60 minutes. Tier 2 includes papers on Mathematical Abilities, English Language, Statistics, and General Studies-Finance and Economics, with varying numbers of questions and marks. The detailed pattern helps candidates prepare specifically for each section and manage their time effectively during the exam

The Staff Selection Commission changed the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam pattern and introduced partial negative markings in the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam. The Commission also changed the number of questions asked in the exam. The Commission divided the paper into two parts and fixed a separate timeline for each session. There are no such repetitive questions in the SSC GD Constable exam. However, the topics and types are generally the same almost every year. The Commission make changes in the difficulty level of the same topics asked in the exam. Moreover, the Commission may give more weightage to one topic this year and another topic in next year. For example, there may be more questions on number system in 2025 and in 2026, the Mathematics section may include more questions on Algebra. So. No, it is not mandatory to pass the pre-board exams to get the Andhra Pradesh SSC 10th admit card. The pre-board exams are meant for students to be familiar with the board exam format. Clearing them is not a criteria for obtaining the Andhra Pradesh SSC Class 10th hall ticket.
