SSC JE notification 2022 was released on August 12, as per the schedule given by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The candidates need to read and understand all the important information given in the official notification. SSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2022
SSC JE eligibility criteria are explained in the official notification. Generally, the candidates focus on only three things namely, age limit, educational qualification and age relaxation provided to different categories. The success rate is defined by the number of candidates qualified in the SSC JE exam over the number the candidates appeared for the exam. SSC JE educational qualification
SSC JE educational qualification is also mentioned in the official notification. The minimum educational qualification is an engineering degree. There is no percentage requirement for the engineering degree. The candidates can apply online if there are engineering graduates without bothering about their percentage in the engineering degree. The candidates can apply online for the SSC JE exam for their engineering stream.

SSC did not release the JE vacancies in the official notification. It is a new trend in the SSC notifications that the vacancies are not notified until the result of the tier 1 exam. SSC JE Exam Pattern
SSC JE exam pattern can be called a hybrid one. The first stage is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the next stage is conducted as an offline paper in the pen and paper mode.
SSC JE Paper 1 tests General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and General Engineering (Civil & Structural/Electrical/Mechanical) through objective-type questions. The candidates need to select the right answer from the given options. There is a provision for negative marking also in the SSC JE paper 1.

The SSC JE (Junior Engineer) examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission is for the recruitment of junior engineers in various government departments and organizations. The posts offered through the SSC JE exam are generally classified as Group-B (Non-Gazetted) posts.
