Check candidate reactions of Bihar STET re-exam which is being conducted online amid the COVID-19 pandemic for different papers.
BSEB is currently conducting Bihar STET 2019 re-exam across the state, the online exam started on September 9 and it will be continued till September 21. As the exam is being conducted amid COVID-19 pandemic, the authority has introduced several guidelines to ensure there is no further spread of the virus during the examination process. Bihar STET has two papers, Bihar STET paper I and Bihar STET paper II, paper I is being conducted from 10 am to 12:30 pm and paper II is being conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
Candidates who appeared for the exam had to go through several security and health scrutinies this time. Candidates had to maintain social distance with one another, at least six feet. It is strictly prohibited to stand closely with other candidates or forming groups within and outside the examination center. Apart from that, candidates with fever are not allowed to take the exam. Wearing a mask during the exam is also being made mandatory.
We have spoken to serval candidates who have already appeared for the exam. Let us share with you their experience of Bihar STET re-exam.
As per Gaurav Yadav, only a ball point pen was allowed inside the exam centre. Wearing mask is mandatory for all, body temperature check us being done at the entry. Candidates need to carry a print out of their Bihar STET admit card and valid ID proof. When we asked about the exam, he said there was no major changes in exam comparing to the previously conducted exam. Overall level of the paper was easy to moderate. This time, more number of questions were being asked from child pedagogy section as compared to last exam.
As per Prashant Kumar, there was no major change in exam, the only difference is the exam was conducted online this time. All COVID-19 protocols are being followed. Candidates should not feel panicked. The level of the questions is Higher secondary and graduation levels and there was np major difference in difficulty level of the paper as compared to the last exam.
Another aspirant, Surbhi, who appeared for Mathematics, has found the paper difficult. She has complained that her centre was very far from her location and she faced hardship in traveling. She said the level of the paper is of the graduation level. There were questions from physics and chemistry as well in Maths section. In pedagogy section, out of 50 questions, 20 questions were asked from reasoning and arithmetics. Overall, the difficulty level was hard and she is expecting lower cutoff than the last exam.
Pranay Kumar, who belongs to Aurangabad, had to travel Patna to appear for Bihar STET. He is also preparing for BPSC. As per him, BSEB should not conduct the exam amid this pandemic. Also, all COVID-19 protocols have not been followed completely. Level of the paper was hard, besides, due to the unavailability of Bihar STET syllabus they faced hardship. Most of the candidates prepared the topics up to class 12th, however, the majority of the questions asked in Bihar STET are of graduation level.
