Exam Pattern and Syllabus
- Bihar STET is conducted in two parts, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper I is conducted for the secondary level (class 9th-10th), and Paper 2 is conducted for the higher secondary level (for class 11th-12th). Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks to clear each paper. A candidate from the General category needs to secure 50% marks to qualify the exam and candidates from other categories must secure 45% marks to qualify.
- Paper 1 includes English, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Maths, Science and Social Science. Paper 2 includes English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science. Development and Pedagogy, Languages, Mathematics, science and social science.
- Both the papers contain 150 questions and carry a total of 150 marks, 1 mark each, the total duration of each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes
