  • Bihar STET is held in two parts. Paper I is for the class 9th-10th, and Paper 2 is for the class 11th-12th. Candidates need to score qualifying marks to pass each paper. A candidate from the General category needs to secure 50% marks to qualify the exam and candidates from other categories must secure 45% marks to qualify.
  • Paper 1 includes English, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Maths, Science and Social Science. Paper 2 includes English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science. Development and Pedagogy, Languages, Mathematics, science and social science.
  • Both the papers contain 150 questions and carry a total of 150 marks, 1 mark each, the total duration of each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Bihar STET syllabus for Paper I and Paper II are different and candidates should become familiar with the topics at the beginning of Bihar STET preparation.
  • Don’t neglect any specific section of the syllabus as questions are being asked from all topics, prioritize each section without any miss.
  • Learn the basics first and then gradually move to other complicated parts of a particular topic.

Bihar STET exam is held online in computer-based test mode. In the exam, candidates need to mark their answers on the desktop. Candidates need to complete the exam in two hours and thirty minutes.

A: 

The Bihar STET exam is generally conducted once a year. However, the decision regarding the frequency of exam is taken by the exam conducting body, that is, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). It is a state-level Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam that is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary or Higher Secondary level teachers.

Q:   How many marks are there in Bihar STET exam?

The Bihar STET exam has total of 150 marks in Paper 1 and Paper 2. In the Bihar STET exam, 150 questions are asked in each paper. Each question is for 1 mark and there is no negative marking in the exam. Candidates are awarded +1 mark for each correct answer and 0 marks for an incorrect answer.
