Bihar STET is held in two parts. Paper I is for the class 9th-10th, and Paper 2 is for the class 11th-12th. Candidates need to score qualifying marks to pass each paper. A candidate from the General category needs to secure 50% marks to qualify the exam and candidates from other categories must secure 45% marks to qualify.
Paper 1 includes English, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Maths, Science and Social Science. Paper 2 includes English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science. Development and Pedagogy, Languages, Mathematics, science and social science.
Both the papers contain 150 questions and carry a total of 150 marks, 1 mark each, the total duration of each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
