An honest review of our university.
Placements: 70% of the students are placed in our course; the rest are almost for higher studies; and there are many government exams such as UPSC and WBCS. To recruit students, there are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Aakash institute, Pathfinder, Narayana Institute, etc. The average package from our course is about 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: There will also be Wi-Fi, labs, smart classroom, etc. The quality and facilities in our hostel are above average but the medical facilities are good in our hostel because, besides our hostel, a K.P.C. medical college is there so if a student faces any higher illness, immediately the student must be admitted to the hospital by the hostel authority.
Faculty: Teachers are also helpful; they are highly qualified and they have completed their master's and doctor's degrees in philosophy from premier institutes such as IIT. It always makes the student industry ready. Because computer language and Matlab are included in our syllabus, they are able to sit in on campus placements such as TCS. There will be a difficult moment to pass the semester exam, as the semester question is set at a standard level.
Other: I am interested in mathematics subjects, so I chose mathematics subjects at this premier university. Tech Fest and cultural Fest are organized every year by the authorities. There will also be scholarships available because swami vivekananda merit cum means a scholarship is provided to students by the state government, which amounts to 18000.

A university is a good place for the all-round development of students.
Placements: Our department has 110 seats. It has high placements. Top recruiting companies like Tata visit our campus. Our department offers an extensive course in computer science along with courses in physics, statistics, and chemistry according to the student's needs. It focuses on the extensive and all-around development of students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and it has its labs. There is a department library and a central library where students can borrow books according to their needs. The hostel facility is good and it offers food. There is a possibility for the development of all sports as well as occasional sports events.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and student-friendly. The quality of education is top-notch and the teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. Students are ready for all sectors. The examination is of good quality and conducted strictly. The pass percentage is 40%.

Jadavpur University is one of the best institutions in India.
Placements: More than 50% of the students are placed in good jobs. Salary offered varies from Rs. 30,000 to 1 lac per month. Top recruiting companies are ICICI Bank, TCS, etc. Almost 90% of students got internships from this course in various institutes like IISC Bangalore, ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, etc. There is a huge scope in this course such as computer job, and other statistics related jobs. Almost 90 students in a room get a great opportunity to perform.
Infrastructure: All the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are available for each student. On the campus area, hostel, canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are also available. In this area, good quality food is available. Mess is also available beside the campus and on the campus area.
Faculty: We have some helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable teachers in this course. They are good. Some of them have good teaching qualities and experiences. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: I chose this is because I like Maths. The are many best things about this course. Events, fests, crowd, scholarship, and extracurricular activities are available on the campus.

The reputation of our university is well known all over India.
Placements: This is the first time that campus placements are provided for B.Sc students by our university. But placements after M.Sc is started a few years ago, and this is also continued in the same way. Students are glade for that this is a big opportunity for the students.
Infrastructure: In this college, a Wi-Fi facility is available everywhere on campus. Laboratories are good. Professors and laboratory assistants are very helpful and always cooperate with the student. Classrooms are average and in every classroom projectors facility is available. Library facility and book stocks no one can not compare with any other universities in West Bengal.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are knowledgeable, and they always motivate students for higher study. Besides the semester syllabus teachers are always trying to teach some other topics for higher study. The semester exam is difficult.

JU is the best college in Kolkata.
Placements: Recruiting companies were not coming for our course. Most of our classmates got good marks in aggregate.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are good. The library and labs are good. I was not in the hostel. In JU, there is a departmental library and a central library, and students can choose any library for books. In the library, you can read books with attention because the library environment is pleasant.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. If we approach teachers for any problem related to that topic that is under the teachers, they always help us to understand the topic. Semester examinations are conducted twice a year, and questions are based on the syllabus.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like mathematics, and I want to study mathematics. Our campus is pleasant.

Our university holds a very good ranking and fees for every course is easily bearable.
Placements: Placement facilities are very beneficial to our college students, and every year mostly 90% of the students of our university get themselves placed after completion of their course. The highest salary package offered was 70-80 LPA. Placements for B.Tech course are better than B.Sc, and M.Sc. courses because most of the students of science do not appear in the interview for their research purpose.
Infrastructure: Labs, library, classrooms, etc., are first class in our university and it possesses canteen and medical facilities. Our students are very eager to do sports and they also make the name of our university bright in their own sports field. We are provided free Wi-Fi facilities also on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they focus more on student's learning than their marks. University provides a helpful syllabus to all students and our course curriculum is very relevant. Difficulties of semester exams are moderate and the pass percentage is also very good.
Other: Our university organises freshers and a fest for students. The campus surroundings make every student close to each other and any student can feel more attached to this university when he/she visits our campus.

Review of Jadavpur University.
Placements: Above 80% of the students got placed in our course. The highest score is 78%, and the lowest is 58%. Tata and many more private firms visit the campus. Approximately 50 to 65% of the students got internship based on merit like group C and group B, by merit, and many more students got an internship by passing out.
Infrastructure: A Wi-Fi zone is available on campus, and we have a huge library following our classrooms, and the atmosphere is quite soothing in the hot summer. The hostel rooms are normal as usual. the old buildings have traditional fans. So it's quite good and comfortable for me. A big canteen is available, and a lot of sports like indoor and outdoor are held. We have championship matches on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and calm. They also help the poor students.
The semester exams held are brilliant because the questions are equally tough for all of us to crack. So you should be at your best from the UG1 to be a good student. Then In UG 3 you won't face any problem.
Other: I chose this course because I love Mathematics. I wish the merit base exams are to be improved. Annual fest and many more paid game championships are held.

Review of Jadavpur University.
Placements: Placements are provided to engineering students in Jadavpur. But, placements for the mathematics department are quite less as only 2 or 3 people got placed with a salary of around Rs. 40,000 per month. Students from our department opt for M.Sc and then PhD if possible. After pursuing M.Sc students can get placed, but students prefer clearing the NET exam and then pursuing a PhD so that they can work as professors. Most of the professors from our department are the alumni of Jadavpur.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average, and it is improving day by day. Recently, the central government gave our college a hefty fund for being in the top 10 colleges of the country (non-IIT) after which the construction work is progressing at a rapid speed. Construction of many new buildings is in progress. We face an issue with classrooms in our department as they are not much spacious and also not properly ventilated. The speed of Wi-Fi is poor. Library and labs are very good. Food served in the canteen is expensive, but the quality is satisfactory. The old hostel is not much good, but the new hostel is very good. Food served in the mess is tasty.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and quite friendly, which is the speciality of our college. They are always ready to help you at any time. Different teachers use different techniques for teaching. Some give notes, while others mainly use textbooks. The student to teacher ratio is around 14:1. The most important thing is the syllabus. Students who aspire to crack IIT JAM can do it easily just by going through the 3-year syllabus of the course. Seniors help you a lot in everything. There is a WhatsApp group in which almost all the teachers, alumni and seniors join to help you with any problem, be it educational or personal.
Other: Events, fests, etc., are part of Jadavpur. Almost every great event like Ibtida, etc., is organised. Reunion of students is planned in almost every year where many alumni are invited to the college. Departmental picnic, freshers' party and farewell party are also conducted at right times. Students get many types of scholarships like SHE, etc. Inter-department sports tournaments are also conducted from time to time.

Yes, you are eligible for the admission as students need 65% in class 12th in general category and for SC/ST/OBC/sports quota, minimum of 48% in required. You must be having science subjects as well like chemistry, physics and mathematics of course.
