Probably the cheapest but most reputed college in west Bengal .
Placements: As this is a B.Sc. course there is no straight forward placement but many students got good internship in reputed institution and most of them got M.Sc. in IITs. But with the knowledge provided by the college one can secure a decent placement after M.Sc.
Infrastructure: Personally I wasn't a boarder of hostel but from what I have heard from my classmates that the hostel pricing is really cheap. The amenities are somewhat decent. Hygiene is average though. But for such cheap rates its acceptable. So if you really can't afford a PG then hostel could be a feasible option.
Faculty: The best part of studying in an autonomous institution is that the syllabus is adjusted so that it could be completed in the fixed period. The teachers are very friendly. Most of them are very well qualified. You can ask your doubts anytime anywhere inside the campus.

Review of Jadavpur University.
Placements: This is one of the best universities in India. NIRF University ranks 8th in 2021. No doubt, it is the best institution in India in terms of return on investment. Top companies such as Amazon, Google, and Microsoft come here to recruit students. In this university, the internship environment is very rich.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure than any other government college. Our college has a central library. Our campus is a free Wi-Fi zone. There is a huge laboratory. The hostel is good, and good food is provided. Our college arranges different types of games.
Faculty: The faculty members are extremely good, highly qualified and helpful. The curriculum is well managed. Students get good marks compared to other colleges of Calcutta University and other colleges as it is a home university. The semester exams are not so difficult. The questions are of standard level.
Other: This course is very interesting, and also the faculty are the best here. The best thing about the course is that it lands with great opportunities in the future. The laboratories could have been equipped with more instruments. There are many events organised in our university. One of them is the college fest. Others are reunion, picnics etc. The campus crowd is high. The campus surroundings are very natural. There are scholarships one can apply for. Extracurricular activities are available, like a photography club, science club etc.

I am absolutely satisfied due to campus, faculty, good placements every year, etc.
Placements: Our college has top placements. From my batch, many students get internships. Many companies visit here every year for recruitment. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Our senior told me that from their batch, a student got a salary package of 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: My college has a good infrastructure rather than any other government college. Our college has a central library. Our campus is a free Wi-Fi zone. There is a huge laboratory. The hostel is good, and a good type of food is given. Our college arranges different types of games.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified. They discuss with us about many different higher topics to clear our doubts. Our teachers teach us in a unique way. They also provide us with good-quality notes. The semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 99%. I suggest you study well to get good marks in this college.
Other: I want to be a professor, so I chose this course. Here I have many opportunities to get many scholarships. They also provide free studentship. The campus is very good. There are a lot of trees inside the campus.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, good placements in 2020, very good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 50% of students got placed, and others opted for their Masters. The average package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Digituala, TCS, Infosys etc. Some students got internships in Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. Roles offered are mainly subject matter expert and video content maker.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in our college as well as in our hostel. The labs here are well-equipped, which facilitates us to do our practical work. It has a central library with access to millions of books along with a digital library. The quality of food in our hostel is very good. It provides a balanced diet. There are many canteens in the college premises along with a canteen in the hostel. There is also a health center which provides students with good medical facilities. There are also various sports available.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They provide us with all the resources required for our course. Their teaching technique is very good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes us industry-ready. We perform various types of experiments in labs. Semester exams are not so difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: This course is very interesting, and also the faculty are the best here. The best thing about the course is that it lands with great opportunities in the future. The laboratories would have been more equipped with more instruments. There are many events organised in our university. One of them is the college fest. Others are reunion, picnics etc. The campus crowd is high. The campus surrounding is very natural. There are scholarships one can apply. Why you should definitely consider JU.
Placements: This is one of the best universities of India. NIRF University rank 8th in 2021. And no doubt it is the best institution of India in terms of return of investment. Infrastructure: Hostel and mess facilities are not that great but decent. JU has two campuses - 1. JU Main Campus (located at Jadavpur), 2. JU Salt Lake Campus ( 2nd Campus). In JUMH Jadavpur University Main Campus) 3 to 4 students live in one room, on the other hand in Salt Lake Campus you will get a single room.
Faculty: Faculty members are extremely good, highly qualified and helpful. The curriculum is well managed. Students get good marks compared to colleges of Calcutta University and other colleges as it is a home university. The semester exam is not so much difficult. The questions are of standard level.
Other: I chose Physics 'cause it is my favorite subject. And I chose Jadavpur 'cause it's Physics department is one of the best in Bengal. Our university organises rocking Fests. Our techfest Sanskriti is very well known. As this university offers interdisciplinary courses, the campus is much crowded (especially the main campus). Engineering, Science and Arts are the faculty members. JU avails many scholarships of its own. And fees is minimal. So this is obviously value for money.
