BIT Mesra in a Nerd's POV.

Placements: BIT Mesra's 2024 B.Tech placements saw the highest salary package of approximately 52 LPA. The average salary package offered is 17.5 LPA for CSE, 16 LPA for ECE, and 11.5 LPA for EEE. The placement rates are 75%, 60%, and 69% respectively. The IMSc MnC program recorded the highest salary package above 40 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Additionally, MBA, M.Tech, and MCA programs saw average packages of 7 LPA, 10 LPA, and 8 LPA respectively with placement rates of 84%, 31%, and 22%.

Infrastructure: There are 11 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels. Hostels are well-equipped with high-speed LAN and Wi-Fi. You get double sharing rooms for the entire college life as per the new rule. So this is good or bad depending on person to person. The mess maintains hygiene and good food with bad taste. The hostel fee is Rs. 40,000 per year.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are great, well-educated, and highly qualified. They are from foreign universities, etc. The whole physics department has very strict faculty members. They berate you even if you come 5 minutes late in class. The rest are hill proof. In IMSc MnC, this year we even have Dr. Randhir Singh sir one of the world's top 2% scientists as our faculty.

Other: I chose this course without thinking much but it is one of the most demanding courses in the current tech scenario. It was the best I was getting with my rank in JEE. I wish they would remove subjects like chemistry, physics, and chemistry lab from the course as it has no real relation with the degree or industry. It simply wastes time. Our college holds many events. Though the scale is getting smaller, I still remember visiting the campus before my admission. They are celebrated on a much bigger scale compared to now. The crowd is nice.

I am satisfied with all facilities and placements.

Placements: Last year in mathematics and computing, more than 85% of students got placed. As we are at BIT, Mesra, we got an opportunity to take placements in companies in which CSE students participate. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 13 LPA - 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Atlantis, JP Morgan, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. More than 300 companies participate in the placement drive. More than 70% of students got internships in top MNCs.

Infrastructure: Our college is very good. Every possible requirement for students is available in our course and department. There are 2 sharing and single sharing hostels for boys and girls. LAN and air fibre Wi-Fi facilities are available. The menu is dedicated to all states of our country. All indoor and outdoor game facilities are available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers provide all possible notes and PPTs of their course. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. They studied at IITs. Their teaching is very mannered and decent. This course has created huge opportunities in the IT industry. Semester examinations are a little bit difficult. The pass percentage is 40 or 4 CGPA.

Other: Many fests are held every year in our college. Celebrities all over the country join us.

Review of BIT Mesra Ranchi.

Placements: A total of 40% of students are placed with the highest package of INR 18 lacs and the lowest package of INR 4 lacs. Deloitte, Future First, Media.Net, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Only 3.5% of students go for internships. The top roles offered are data analysts and software development engineers; many go for higher studies to do a Ph.D.

Infrastructure: Our college has a friendly environment with complete greenery, and all facilities are available on the campus itself. The main building is well-equipped with classrooms, labs, and a library. Our department has two lecture halls and an air conditioning room with proper ventilation.

Faculty: The faculty of this college are highly qualified; all recruited faculty members are Ph.D. scholars from the best institutes in India and overseas. Students get great benefits from these excellent faculty. They are like guardians to the student; it is easy to pass an exam, but to maintain a good CGPA, you have to study hard.

Highly recommended college for upcoming students .

Placements: 90% overall placement of students in my course the highest 57 LPA the lowest 6 LPA Average 15 LPA for my course Microsoft, Amazon, Trilogy etc. Companies come for my course 50% students for internship in my course Roles for Software development engineer and Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: We have highly qualified faculty members. Our campus has all the facilities you will require like Wi-Fi facility all over the campus and hostels. Well furnished labs, auditoriums and library. We have a seperate sports complex where all sports facilities and gym are available. Mess food is average.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here as they are highly qualified and have an excellent expertise in their fields. Curriculum is very good for every course. Every exam is difficult until you are fully and well prepared for that. The passing percentage is 40%.

One of the best in India which should be on the prior list.

Placements: Master in Science in quantitative economics and data Science is almost excellent because the placement of this branch is 100%. The highest package of this branch is 42 LPA nationally and the lowest package of this branch in quantitative economics and data is 15 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BIT, Mesra, Ranchi is very excellent and the weather of this college is very suitable. In every field like medical, library, fest, etc. are excellent. The food quality of mess is very excellent compare to other colleges you will get meal 4 times a day.

Faculty: The faculty of this college BIT, Mesra, Ranchi is very highly qualified. All recruitment faculty are Ph.D. scholars because of their great experience in every field. What is the placement status for mathematics and computing department of the college? What about the average package?

The average package in 2017-18 was INR. 7.75 LPA. Companies like Byju's, Crisil, Wipro (Turbo) visited the campus for placements and the package offered went as high as INR. 11.5 LPA.
