OUAT Counselling process end date for students to complete their registration was August 13, 2025. The starting date of the counselling process was August 4, 2025, for the academic session 2025-25, for all the selected candidates who appeared for the OUAT Entrance Exam.

The OUAT Entrance Exam Admission starting date was August 14, 2025, for candidates who are sponsored by the state government. The OUAT classes will start on September 15, 2025. The revised date was changed from August 18, 2025; there was no specific reason provided in the official notice.

What are the steps of OUAT 2025 Counselling Process?

Aspirants need to follow the steps below to take part in the OUAT entrance exam counselling process:

Step 1: Register online on OUAT’s official website

Step 2: Fill in programme choice

Step 3: Pay the OUAT counselling fee

Step 4: Lock OUAT seats

Step 5: Round 1 of Temporary Seat Allotment

Step 6: Document/certificate verification & fee payment at the Nodal Centre basis round 1 seat allotment

Step 7: Round 2 of Temporary Seat Allotment

Step 8: Document/certificate verification & fee payment at the Nodal Centre basis round 2 seat allotment

Step 9: Withdrawal of seats by aspirants

Step 10: Final allotment of OUAT seats & auto upgradation

Step 11: Reporting for admission at the allotted institute

OUAT 2025 Counselling Fee for All UG Courses

Candidates must go through the following fee structure to know the fees for all courses.

For BVSc and AH, the course fee is INR 88000 for general, INR 201000 for cost sharing and for sponsored seats for NRI/PIO, the fee is INR 374000.
For BSc (Hons.) Agriculture, BSc(Hons) Horticulture, BTech(Ag Engg), BSc(Hons Forestry) and BFSc, the fees is INR 59000 for general, INR 126500 for cost sharing, INR 345000 for sponsored seats for NRI/PIO.
For BSc (Hons) Community Science, the course fee is INR 33000.

5	CLC and Conduct Certificate the Head of the Institution last attended
6	Migration Certificate from the University/Board last attended
7	SC/ST/Green Card/Physically Handicapped certificate the competent authority for respective reservation category
8	Certificate as proof of being an OUAT employee from the Head of the office concerned
9	Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed form
10	Residential certificate (Except for candidate with Odia as a subject in 10th standard)
11	Aadhaar Card
12	Permanent Residential Certificate for Western Odisha
13	5 copies of passport-size photograph
NRI Students need to submit the below-mentioned documents
Passport of the sponsor Visa/Permanent residential certificate of sponsor Residential proof of sponsor (electric bill, telephone bill, water bill, etc.)
