Rajasthan PTET Exam Preparation Plan

Start by Solidifying Your Basics

  • To do the same, candidates are advised to revise the important concepts in Mental Ability (coding-decoding, series, analogies, puzzles).
  • Cover General Awareness (history, Indian polity, geography, and current affairs).
  • Focus on basic grammar rules, comprehension, and vocabulary for the Language section.
  • Follow a timetable and allot at least 3-4 hours daily for revision and practicing mock tests and solving past year question papers.

Revision and Practice are the key to success

  • Attempt past year question papers and give mock tests.
  • Create one-page summary notes to quickly revise topics such as teaching philosophies and general awareness. Keep these notes always handy, and during off hours, keep on checking them regularly.
  • Practice error detection and sentence improvement in Hindi/English.
  • Use a timer while solving the question papers and mock tests; this will help in increasing your question-solving speed and abilities.
  • Focus on Teaching Aptitude, often overlooked but high scoring—revise classroom management, child development, and teaching techniques.
  • Revise static GK and update your notes with the latest current affairs.
  • Analyze the practice sheets to track your mistakes in each test and avoid repeating them.
  • Don’t try to learn anything new and Stick to what you've been revising.

General Tips for Students Preparing for the PTET 2025

  • Stay Consistent and make a realistic timetable and stick to it.
  • Avoid passive reading, write, quiz yourself, and teach concepts to others. If you can’t find anyone, talk in front of the mirror to reinforce what you have already read.
Follow credible sources for daily current affairs, especially those of Rajasthan and India.
  • Take short breaks in between study sessions to avoid burnout.
  • Eat right, sleep 7–8 hours daily, and stay hydrated. Falling ill is the last thing an aspirant will ever want

PTET Last-Minute Do’s & Don’ts

Do’s:

  • Revise from your notes.
  • Keep your hall ticket and ID proof ready once released. If it is possible, check the route of the exam centre and adjust as per the traffic.
  • Stay confident and calm while attempting the questions.

Don’ts:

  • Don’t start any new topics during this period, as it will only add to the confusion.
  • Don’t compare your PTET preparation with others. It often leads to confusion and disappointment
  • Avoid late-night studying one day before the exam.

Bottomline

PTET not just tests the knowledge of the students but also their smart strategy. During this period, it is advised that candidates utilize the time well. Focus on mock tests, time-bound practice, and clear the concepts. All the best for the PTET 2025.

There isn't a single "cut-off" for Rajasthan PTET Counselling, as the process is based on seat allotment rather than a fixed score; instead, candidates receive a college based on their rank, with lower scores getting higher preference if there are still available seats in their desired college.
