It is a good college to study.

Placements: It is a very good college and basically the best Marine college in South India. So, anyone going to a sea-oriented course surely gets 100 percent placement. Also, if a student completes the course with decent marks, there is a good chance of getting jobs. Compared to other universities, it also has IELTS training to increase the English fluently and jobs offers.

Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi facility, everywhere, even outside the college at the reception. It provides 5 Mbps speed. The hostels also have Wi-Fi facility and the college is composed of the many blocks from A block to F block. Also, we have the equipment, machinery and four workshops with all international standards and we have many international students studying along with us. It has very good food separate for Indian and international students. It has four days non-veg and special food which is really very good.

Faculty: It is a four years course and the curriculum consist of 8 semesters. Each semester consists of 6 months. The first two semesters consist of basic physics, chemistry, maths, mechanical, EVS, engineering graphics, English, technical and soft skills. The workshop which consists of gas welding, arc welding, machine operating and the faculty are well versed in their subjects and versatile in the vernacular language and English.

Other: This university is located in ECR near Mayajaal theatre, Kaanathur. Very good college and the fees are 1 lakh 50 thousand per year for my course. It can be paid in 3 instalments. And has bus faculty members for your location and the bus charges RS 20000 per year.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
