For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. STEP 1. Aligarh Muslim University BA Application Process
Candidates can complete the AMU admissions for the BA course in online mode. Students must upload required documents and pay the application fee. This application process is for courses that depend on AMU Entrance Exam score for admission. For courses such as BA (Hons/Research) in Hindi, Persian, Philosophy, etc. students must apply and appear for CUET UG.
STEP 2. Selection of Candidates and Counselling Rounds
After appearing for the entrance exam, students must register for the AMU counselling on the university page by clicking on "Online Counselling/Admission Portal". Candidates who have appeared for the AMU Entrance Exam will have to log in using the credentials generated during the application process.
Candidates seeking admission through CUET UG will have to sign up before logging in. Once logged in, candidates can lock in their choices for BA courses. The university releases an admission list containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates.
Aligarh Muslim University will select candidates based on either the AMU entrance exam or CUET-UG results. Shortlisted students must appear for document verification process.

- Two self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth INR 22 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).
- Two Undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/guardian regarding not indulging in ragging
