Aligarh Muslim University offers BSc and BSc (Hons) in multiple specialisations. Admission to AMU BSc courses is provided based on the AMU Entrance Exam scores. However, the scores of CUET UG are considered as the selection criteria for BSc (Hons) in Community Science, BSc (Hons) in Geography and BSc (Hons) in Statistics. To be eligible for AMU BSc admission, candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant science subjects. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.

Aligarh Muslim University BSc admission is entrance-based. The university conducts the Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Examination to admit students to various BSc courses. AMU BSc admission process begins with applying for the entrance exam. The university conducts AMU entrance exam (AMU EE) to admit students to its BSc programme. The AMU EE dates vary from year to year. In 2024, the application process strated in March and continued till the thrid week of April. Admission to some BSc courses at AMU is based on CUET UG scores. Hence, candidates seeking admission to these courses must apply for the CUET UG exam before the application deadline. The application process for the exam typically begins in February.
Shortlisted candidates have to present a list of documents for verification purposes at the time of admission to the courses offered at AMU. Candidates must carry the following original documents at the time of physical reporting:
- Mark sheet of last qualifying examination (with four self-attested photocopies)
- Transfer/migration and character certificate (If the Certificate is not available, an undertaking on the prescribed format is to be submitted within the due date)
- High school certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth
- Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (with white background)
- Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in the application form
- Leave sanction/relieving order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed.
- Name removal certificate from the rolls of the concerned faculty/college/unit (if already enrolled in another full-time course at AMU)
- Two self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth INR 22 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).
- Two Undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/guardian regarding not indulging in ragging

Registration for CUET UG 2024 closed at 11:50 p.m. on April 5, 2024. The online application for CUET 2024 was open. The CUET 2024 admission card was made available by the National Testing Agency via exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ on May 29. The CUET 2024 exam for Delhi centres was originally planned for May 15, but the NTA has moved it to May 29.
