My opinion on my college.
Placements: Almost 30% of students got placed in our college. The highest package is approximately 3.50 LPA. The top recruiting companies are many companies such as many EdTech companies. The top roles offered in my course could be a senior geologist working in government or private institutions.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our courses are very nice. We have Wi-Fi network available on our whole campus. In our department, classrooms are well-established and equipped with modern technology. The quality of our hostel is very nice.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very supportive and also they are very helpful and they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very much relevant. Semester exams are not that difficult if you have studied well then you can score good marks.
Other: I choose this course because I found it very much interesting.

Satisfied with course, faculty members, and placements. Infrastructure of university is fantastic.
Placements: 80% of students got placed after master's program because in terms of this particular course the graduation degree you can grab a job for an initial Rs. 25,000 but it will exceed up to 1 Lakhs. In India after master's there are more opportunities, the average package is 5 LPA-6 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies in which students of this department have grabbed jobs like ONGC, Indian Oil, and BHEL. Hardly 4-5 students have got internships, field geologists, mining geologists, and hydrogeologists are some top-notch roles offered.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available 24/7. Labs are well-equipped but the issue I face is the infrastructure it lacks. Classrooms are old and lacking essential features like AC and cooler. Library is fantastic one of the best libraries in Asia. I don't live in the hostel so I can't say, the quality of food in mess and canteen is okay not that much outstanding. Medical facilities are available for students 24/7. There are separate sports and games communities with their coaches.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is qualified and knowledgeable, sometimes they are helpful while some of them are not. The teaching quality is average. Course is based on the latest four-year program and it is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester are 4 months and it is difficult for us to clear the paper. Pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go in field-type jobs rather than sitting in a particular place. The best thing about this course is you have multiple career options as a bio student. I can go further in some technical options like M.Tech in geology in the future. I think semester exams should be 6 months so that students can enjoy studying the course. There is a fest conducted. Campus crowd and network are so strong. Scholarships are provided for needy students, and students can get enrolled in extracurricular activities in CEC (a club).

I am satisfied only because of the environment of the university.
Placements: Nearly 60% of students are placed in my course. The minimum package offered after completing this course is 2-3 LPA. Some schools recruit students, but no big companies are involved. Almost 80% of students get internship opportunities in NGOs in a particular city, working as extension workers or dietitians.
Infrastructure: There are labs, a seminar library, Wi-Fi, and five classrooms in my department, i.e., the Department of Home Science. However, the quality of infrastructure is poor, with classrooms that are not airy, and no sports or games available. Aligarh Muslim University is a great place to study, with a peaceful environment and fabulous event gatherings, but the Department of Home Science, in particular, does not pay much attention to the subjects. When students complain the chairperson he taunts them and asks them to do what they want. The formal process for applications and registration is very slow.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified, but they are not very helpful or understanding. The quality of education is somewhat missing. This course makes students industry-ready, but it depends on student's interest in the particular subject. It is not very difficult. Approximately 70% is the passing percentage.

The culture of AMU is really good and Aligarh is the city of Tehzeeb .
Placements: Around 85% of students were placed last year. The highest package was 10 LPA and the lowest package was 3 LPA. A B.Sc. in Statistics can lead to careers in banking, finance, and insurance. Some career options include statistician, data analyst, statistical researcher, and risk analyst. Many students got internships as well.
Infrastructure: AMU provides plenty of areas for developing abilities and exploring new ones, such as football, volleyball, skating, and tennis playgrounds. There are well-furnished laboratories, including science, engineering, technology, and computer labs. There is also a nicely curated auditorium and ATMs for banking facilities. An interesting fact about AMU is that it has Asia's biggest library.
Faculty: The faculty for my course is amazing; the teaching quality of the professors is superb. As we all know, data science is a growing field and will boom in the future. Sessional exams are not difficult if one has proper knowledge and is active in class; then they can score well. I don't know about semester exams because I haven't experienced them yet.
Other: Students with a Bachelor's in Statistics are eligible to apply for various jobs in banking, IT, and quality control. They can even specialize in actuarial science and join various financial and share trading companies. Events and fests happen in college, and one popular and big event is Sir Syed Day. The college also provides extracurricular activities and scholarships.

Aligarh Muslim University is one of the 10 best central universities in India.
Placements: Aligarh Muslim University is a central government university. Since most of the students do not want to get the job after graduation, placement after pursuing graduation in B.Sc. is lower than B.Tech. But every year many companies come here for giving internships, which are Publicize Sapient, Ramboll India, etc.
Infrastructure: Aligarh Muslim University was established in 1920 as a central university. It has a green and clean campus. India's largest university library is found in this university named Maulana Azad Library. There is WiFi available every time. The labs and classrooms are modern and smart.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is the best. It has experienced professors who know how to teach and to learn their students. The difficulty level of the semester exams is average but it creates lengthy question papers and a passing percentage of 33%.

The course is good but the faculty does not provide placements to the students.
Placements: Although everyone gets campus placement in this university, only a few students who get top rank get a good package. An internship is given to everyone, whether they pass from the first division or not, and if we talk about the department of geology, then only GSI is released from our department, and there is no campus placement only in our department. But it is easy to get a job in the private sector with the name of Aligarh Muslim University, but the package seems very less. In the beginning, the package costs from 3 lakh to 5 lakh. The overall course is good but placement has to be taken out of campus in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure building is well built, which is the best of all the departments in Aligarh Muslim University, and the hostels—some buildings are good and some are old. They are good for aesthetic vibes but not that good for living; the hostel food is without taste, which is the case with all the government university hostels.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and they leave no stone unturned in teaching. They also remain supportive with the students and help in getting the students' projects and papers published, which is very good for the academics of the students. Overall, the subjects are good. But there is no campus placement so students have to go out of campus placement to find it and they do not get a good package either.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it is not taught much in India and there would hardly be 10 departments in India or even less than that.
