IIITM Gwalior MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025

IIITM Gwalior MTech is a two-year postgraduate degree programme divided into four semesters and offered full-time. The basic eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admission to MTech at IIITM Gwalior is candidates must achieve a minimum of 60% aggregate in BTech degrees (or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) for Gen/ EWS/ OBC-NCL whereas 55% marks (or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ ST/ PwD in the qualifying degree aggregate of all semesters/years. Moreover, candidates must complete their Class 12 with Science stream Mathematics as one of the subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 75%.

Furthermore, IIITM Gwalior MTech admissions are based on GATE scores followed by CCMT counselling. IIITM MTech courses are available in various specialisations, such as Wireless Networking and Computing, Cyber Security & Cyber Laws, IC Design and Technology, etc.

Additionally, the institute also offers BTech + MTech integrated courses for the duration of five years. Really good infrastructure and placement.

Placements: Number of software companies came that year for placement. They did placement of nearly 80% of students in our batch. In M.Tech they took more than 150 students out of 200 students. The average salary was 6 Lacs per annum that year. Students also got internship with average stipend of 2.5 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Great infrastructure. Labs are very intended. Library is superb. Wi-Fi networks are available every where in campus. Indoor and outdoor games are available. Mess food is little bit bad. Overall infrastructure is above average. The in campus medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Faculty is good. Students to faculty ratio very less. Courses are useful in all about research. Techniques involved with better understanding. All the teachers are well completed their Ph.D. they have knowledge to teach. Teaching Methods are generally good.

Other: Every year sports event and tech fest are organised.
